Hi Art, this album is right at home in the Midwestern Travel Topic. Lovely shots, I especially like 1, 10 and 17. A wonderful album and worthy of a feature some day. Best wishes from Keith in Sydney.

This is a jewel! Both beautiful and interesting shots! Hanging the Pot and Mixing the Batter made me believe they were Dutch paintings! And the rooster is GREAT!!! Dear Art, mighty nice of you to come looking at my album on Phuket - which is a small island in the Andaman Sea, belonging to Thailand. When you have time, please, come see my latest album on Yokohama (Japan) and the one on temples gardens around Kamakura (Japan). My very best to you, Gabriela

Hello Art, I loved "reclaimed by the forest". I have just gotten my camera set up and this is the type work I hope to be able to capture along with waterfalls and other outdoor wonders. Thanks for the inspiration.

Hi Art, Thank you for mentioning this album in my guestbook, I would love to see this place, maybe someday...in the meantime, I am very happy to see it through your eyes. The Tradesmen's barn and a place to contemplate, caught my eye, I am also a lover of old wagons, so I of course, enjoyed that shot very much! I have an album of old wagons at my Canary address, you wouldn't want to donate your wagon photo would you? :-)) Only kidding, thanks for sharing this missouri of yesteryear with me, Candy.

Hi mugs, I enjoyed your photos as well :) I have traveled extensively in the midwest, and spent several years photographing antique tractors, though my pix are all slides and I haven't scanned them. In response to your question about the "Old Barn 1" photo in my "Rural Life 2" album, no I did not take the photo. I don't remember where I got it -- it is part of a collection I made up when I was working for the USDA several years ago. I collected hundreds of photos and images from all over the web, as well as using many of my own. Very few came from WebShots. In all cases I got permission to use the photos in the USDA collection, although it's possible that some others slipped through the cracks when I put the collection up on WebShots. If you know the photographer & that's the case, please let me know! :) Thanks! Peace, Kathy Sheffield, Vermont sun.dog@lycos.com

Hi Art - I thoroughly enjoyed this album so much so that I cannot begin to pick a favorite. I like the subject matter, the bright colors, and the clarity of your photos. I downloaded your lead in shot of the red barn-I'm a softy for barns. You said you lived in Escanaba. All the photos but seven in my fall album are in the UP, and the seven do not have proper names. Thanks for viewing my album. Shirley/Michigan :)
