  • The Zugspitz photo showing the cables of the tram that takes yu to the top after riding the Zug (train) inside the mountain is a fine piece of photography. The Zugspitz is my favorite among those mountians I got onto the summit without climbinmg a foot - except for crossing the gash to get to the flag on the highest point. allman@stansmail.com

  • I couldn't help but notice that your Germany pictures were taken in late 50's early 60's. They sure brought back many memories for me, as a Canadian Army brat I spent a number of my teen years in northern Germany, returned again on my 30th birthday for a holiday, moved to Baden-Baden on my 40th birthday and have since returned to Canada. My dream is to retire in Germany or the south of France. I thoroughly enjoyed your photos, many many thanks.

  • Great photos, but may I point out that under the photo of Schloss Hohenschwangau, you have captioned it as Neuschwanstein Castle 2. Neuschwanstein is the fairytale 'Disney' Castle, built by Ludwig II of Bavaria, Hohenschwangau being the one where Ludwig lived as a boy.

  • Great shot of the Plonlein at night ("Rothenburg-Nig ht 2"). This unique spot situated within Rothenburg is absolutely one of my most favorite spots in Europe. Love the way you flipped the picture to show the tower on the right instead of how it is in reality. Creates a whole different look to this fabulous spot.
