Hi Jane...it's me again. I just went through your whole album. Now you've done it! The ocean photographs are fantastic and made me realize how much I miss the ocean. I spent most of my life in Massachusetts and Rhode Island so the ocean was my stomping grounds, not the farm fields of Illinois. My stepdaughter lives in Oregon and my daughter lives in California...maybe we'll take a vacation in that direction your pictures look so inviting. Bye again and Congrats, Ann

Well, Jane! Now I know someone famous and I'm tickled pink for you! Sharon has been running around screaming that you have been featured today and we're both so delighted for you. Now I have one concern about the police car or sheriff's car in that little town in Oregon! Was it just there or had it been chasing Rod because they had spotted some gal making Rod drive on both sides of the road to take photos??? Hmmmm! Makes one wonder?!! Just kidding! Hi Jane,This has been a great trip to the beautiful Oregon Coast which I have thoroughly enjoyed in your company,my thanks to the live in chauffuer for a wonderful and safe journey :-)))).Love all the trees and scenery, Michael says the photo of Smith River reminds him of the film "Where the River Bends" he has always said how fantastic the scenery was.I am so pleased that we did not attempt to go fishing though at Smith river it sounds toooooo dangerous. The size of the trees are unbelievable,with Rod's help to put these giants into perspective we can appreciate just how big they are.What wonderful things we saw Califoria Gull,Egrets, the Rock Doves and the Sea shore pics . were also fantastic :-))))). I particularily like Brookings Harbour,Late Afternoon and I can see the lighthouse on the horizon.Both wood hand carvings are superb but my favourite is the bench with its excellent workmanship of the two fish.On your return journey the shot through the trees of Smith river is great as are the Tunnel shots and the pic. as we (you) head home.This has been a marvelous album a pleasure to view on such a glorious day for Day Trippin.Thanks once again for all these superb pics:-)))).Your comments in my guestbook as allways are so very much appreciated.Gigantic Hugs wrapped in enormous amounts of love.Elaine.

Jane, What a beautiful day you had on the coast. It must be great to be so close to all those beautiful sights out there and within a couple hours time be at the ocean or in the mountains. ^-^ My favorite photos are of the coast, but I also enjoyed the Redwoods.
