    • Nice photo collection. You got a nice angle for that old police car near O'brien. Maybe it's never parked right when I drive by. But I want to get a good pic of it someday.     • I truly enjoyed your photos. My husband and I spent 2 summers with our kids vacationing at Jedediah before moving away from California. It is absolutely breathtaking...one must see it for themselves to actually realize the cosmic experience it imparts. I decided that it's where I want my ashes scattered when the journey ends. Thanks for sharing.

    • Hi Jane, I just had to come back here again, the redwoods are amazing, I saw them when I was a kid and still remember how enormous they are, also "blossoms&qu ot; is such a great photo, those small pink and white flowers remind me of peppermint candy...mmm...I was so surprised when I read you are new to photography, I would never have guessed it, I am new to it too, and like you, it is now a passion for me! I am always looking for a good shot!!! Thanks for stopping by and visiting me, I really appreciate your very very kind comments on my photos. You asked if I lived where the sunsets were taken in my "sunsets&quo t; album? I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico and some of them were taken there but the prettiest sunsets (in my opinion) were taken at Vallecito Lake in Colorado which is about 31/2 hours from me. I am glad you are back on line, that must have been really hard on you! Candy

    • dang it looks mighty pretty in them there parts!! Yall got lots of trees and lakes and stuff. Hey what kind of hunting can ya do there? I loves to shoot stuff. No yellow snow there? Here in Texas, or is it Oklahoma? Better ask Ma...yup, we is in Texas, it is also pretty here. It is near dry in these parts all the time, though it does rain space shuttle parts. Then the redwoods and all the wonderful things, and there is even a beach! Just so great a place.     • That old Police car fools everyone in the area! I've been down Hwy. 199 several times, and always slow down for that old police car parked on the side of the road in O'Brien. Awesome shots of that whole area. Congrats on being featured! Lord Bless!!

    • Hi Jane...it's me again. I just went through your whole album. Now you've done it! The ocean photographs are fantastic and made me realize how much I miss the ocean. I spent most of my life in Massachusetts and Rhode Island so the ocean was my stomping grounds, not the farm fields of Illinois.     • Well, Jane! Now I know someone famous and I'm tickled pink for you! Sharon has been running around screaming that you have been featured today and we're both so delighted for you. Now I have one concern about the police car or sheriff's car in that little town in Oregon! Was it just there or had it been chasing Rod because they had spotted some gal making Rod drive on both sides of the road to take photos??? Hmmmm! Makes one wonder?!! Just kidding!     • Hi Jane,This has been a great trip to the beautiful Oregon Coast which I have thoroughly enjoyed in your company,my thanks to the live in chauffuer for a wonderful and safe journey :-)))).Love all the trees and scenery, Michael says the photo of Smith River reminds him of the film "Where the River Bends" he has always said how fantastic the scenery was.I am so pleased that we did not attempt to go fishing though at Smith river it sounds toooooo dangerous. The size of the trees are unbelievable,with Rod's help to put these giants into perspective we can appreciate just how big they are.What wonderful things we saw Califoria Gull,Egrets, the Rock Doves and the Sea shore pics . were also fantastic :-))))). I particularily like Brookings Harbour,Late Afternoon and I can see the lighthouse on the horizon.Both wood hand carvings are superb but my favourite is the bench with its excellent workmanship of the two fish.On your return journey the shot through the trees of Smith river is great as are the Tunnel shots and the pic. as we (you) head home.This has been a marvelous album a pleasure to view on such a glorious day for Day Trippin.Thanks once again for all these superb pics:-)))).Your comments in my guestbook as allways are so very much appreciated.Gigantic Hugs wrapped in enormous amounts of love.Elaine.

    • Jane, What a beautiful day you had on the coast. It must be great to be so close to all those beautiful sights out there and within a couple hours time be at the ocean or in the mountains. ^-^ My favorite photos are of the coast, but I also enjoyed the Redwoods. Did Rod stop in the tunnel for that photo; it is in perfect focus!!! Thanks for letting me see parts of the Oregon Coast we missed on our trip out there. Have a great weekend. Sharon
