Don, almost every time I pick some photo to download, without reading an author's name, I realize that the photo is yours. They have some special sensibility that affects me in the certain way, bringing me back to my childhood, or whatever... I really don't know. Especially your flowers and doors/windows seen from the outside. Thanks for the beauty you are sharing with us.

Hello Don! It doesn't take sense that I make appreciations on your incredibly fine pictures: you don't deserve the judgements from one that has only to learn from your photos. And this is exactly what I want to do: to learn from each one of your shots. I am happy you keep your photos in webshots even if they'd be really worth professional sites, so we can enjoy your very refined photowork. Watching your pics I understand well that if you want beautiful color in your photos you need SLR, not digital (unless digital SLR), and I think Canon is one of the best choyces. Unfortunately I like to travel "light" , and often by moto so for me a compact digital camera is the compelled choyce. I'd like to know if that nice sort of smoothing in many of your South France pics is obtained with a postprocessing or mounting a filter on the camera. Hi Don. The colourful fishing boats is a new one, is not it? These mediterrenean colours are SOOO beautiful. I also found boats with similar colours in Tenerife. It was great fun photographing these! The brightness of the colours; the reflections in the clear water, the feeling of being on holidays etc...Tenerife is Spanish, so that may explain why their boats ressemble.
