Thank you for leaving these pics out on the web; they were lovely to look at...the details of the fabrics used were particularly interesting.

I just became a member of webshot to be able to leave you this message. I want to thank you for the awesome picture you took of Jane A. Stickle's quilt. They are the best, ever. For the first time I was able to see what Jane really made. Until now I had only seen the photos of the original found in Brenda Papadakis' book, software and site, which dont't show any details. I wish you had taken detailed photos of the entire quilt then I could make my own decisions and re-design the blocks, if necessary, based on what I was seen instead of reproducing what Brenda presented to us. I'm thankful to Brenda too for without her efforts I would never have known that quilt but I feel that through your photos I was "in touch" with the real thing. I thank you very much for sharing those photos. It was a real gift to all of us, quilt lovers.

Hi Elsie, I am Nancy Haines, John Haines' wife. I understand he is trying to prove a link in his Hilzinger family to you. We visited Tutlingen a few years back as my brother lives in Germany AND I AM A FELLOW JANIAC. Visit me on Nanquilts in webshots!

Thanks a lot for posting the pictures. I started Jane in 1999 and have 32 blocks done. If I had more time I'd be doing more of what *I* want to do, but children demand more. Jane will come with time I especially enjoyed the picture of the museums explaination for the quilt. Thanks! Cindy in St. Louis
