Congratulations on this album being featured. It is a fine documentary. Kay and I lived in Denver for five years but never took this scenic ride. Kay feared all the mountain roads with steep drop-offs to the rivers. This train ride would have been scary with the tilted track and all. I wouldn't have been hanging out the window on the low side. :>) The album was just like being there ... great job Marie. - - Brian

great train ride, congratulations on the feature. We did drive the roadway one year at fall time & that was fantastic. Unfortunately being on a tight schedule we did not have time to do the train ride but did get some train pics at Silverton. eric

Congratulations on the selection of your album. Enjoy your day, it will pass much too soon. Your pictures are great and bring back some great memories of a super day. I took this trip in the mid-80's and had to shoot all the pictures on film. I used up a full case (48 rolls) of film on this trip. Sure wish digital had been around then.
