This is great. We travelled the old 66 when I was a kid and we drove from Michigan to California to visit my grandparents. Welll, that was centuries ago. I enjoyed redriving the trail. Thank you for the reviving the memories.

Nice pictures! Congratulations on the featured album. It was special for me. 1958 to 1961 I made 4 trips from OK City. Occasionaly I turned at Flagstaff, south to LA. The bumper to boumper traffic (most of the way) really stayed with me. You only pulled off the right, if you wanted to continue in the same direction.

This is a deliteful album that is very, very worthy of the top album feature on Webshots. This is the kind of slideshow that every Member should take a look at and comment on. It is really that good... The concept of Route 66 seems almost overwhelming; however, you have obviously executed a wonderful plan, photographed the very heartbeat of americana, and brought us back this thought provoking album to proof it.
