  • Hi walsallnut, I got some photos in "Flickr" and I wish you could find useful info from it. http://www.flickr.com/photos/21252340@N07/sets/72157603393656896/

  • Hi I am very interested in Building The Repulse as I have the Airfix and Tamiya kits and the photo etched parts to go with the Airfix kit, but I was just wondering where I could get detail views or plans that show the Aerial wire positions and also colour plans 1940 Your help would be most appreciated, I am also building the ship as my dads relative was on the ship as a chief stoker when it went down

  • Hi Paul: Thanks. Re your questions: 1. I use mainly sheet styrene of various thickness(from Evergeen)for the hull and superstructure. For the bow and stern I use also Tamiya's Epoxy putty. 2. Yes, I use Profile Morskie as the main plan for the building. As you may notice the plan doesn't look right for the after superstructure, I have to change that portion according to a few photos that I have on hand.

  • Hi Vince: What an awesome scratchbuild! I would like to scratchbuild a 1/350 Repulse, so I'm wondering: 1. What gauge styrene are you using for the hull & superstructure elements? 2. What plans are you using? (Profile Morskie)? Please keep posting your Repulse photos - they are inspirational! Cheers, Paul H. San Mateo, CA paulhammerness@sbcglobal. net
