  • Dear Claudia, Wow what a parade this looks Is this what normally happens on Memorial Day ? We have remembrance (Poppy) day in November here and last year we climbed up a mountain in the Lake District to be at a service on the summit along with about 1000 other people on a perfect winters blue sky day. I'll remember that for a very long time. This looks a lot of fun for everyone having a good time.   • Hi Claudia; this is a wonderful album - an early celebration for the Memorial Day weekend! I'm surprised they held it on the Thursday before; is this the usual plan? ... I think you documented every group participating; what a wonderful tribute the parade was to those who have fought and died to keep our country safe over the years! God bless our troops!!! ...   • Hi Claudia. Love this album. Looks like you live in a really cool town. Where is it? I love little "hometowns" with that old time feeling. Don't have many of those places here in Southern California. There are some in Northern California though. Kay - Canyon Country, CA (USA).

  • Great album Claudia. You sure were busy clicking away. The running commentary on who and what was very helpful. We have had The Pageant of Bands in Sherburne for over 50 years. Bands come from all over. There were 2 bands here from Iowa the past two years. The parade is always 2 hours long at least. We've been rained on, gotten sunburned, and you name it thru the years of viewing. The competitions go on for several days before the big parade and field show. Thanks for sending your album. Donna
