I am all for giving legal immigrants rights they deserve. I don't agree with people coming in as they please. Anyone, not just Mexicans. My grandparents had to come from Ireland the legal way. Why are we ignoring the constitution now?

I-L-L-E-G-A-L Immigration rally. Immigrants who come to America L-E-G-A-L-L-Y are welcomed with open arms, those who do it i-l-l-e-g-a-l-l-y are not. www.saveourstate.org

This album has obviously created quite a firestorm! I noticed that the old line about jobs Americans don't want to do has come up; a personal observation here. I spent many years in reforestation work (replanting trees on logged off mountainsides). The work was grueling but the money was good until contractors started hiring illegal Mexican labor...now I could do that work for less than I made 25 years ago but choose not to work for sub-standard wages, although I loved that work. Nice album though and I congratulate you on being featured. Les in Alaska

I sorry I can't feel sorry for someone who is illegally here. They should apply to come here legally and eventually become US citizens if that is there wish, which sould entail learning to speak English. Gary in Ohio.

A bunch of foreign invaders who break our laws have no right to march in our streets demanding citizenship.

Sorry Valeria, but freedom of movement is NOT now a basic human right and never has been. If it were, anyone could move into your house and you would have no voice in the matter. If you have locks on your doors, you too agree with me. Sleep tight, Paul in Florida.

My parents came to this country - legally thru Ellis Island, went to night school to LEARN ENGLISH, and became proud American citizens. They had to have someone sponsor them and agree to have a job for them before they could set foot on this soil. Times have changed - and not for the better.

I am a Mexican-American and I just want to get one thing strainght. Did people who came here illegaly break the law. Yes! Most pro-illegals will never admit to that one question. I do care about the illegals because for the most part, they indeed are the ones who do the jobs that nobody else will do. That is a fact and just open your eyes and you will see who pick the crops, clean the toilets, dig holes for new homes and and the landscaping jobs in the blazing heat. So please people have some compassion for them.

Why is this featured here? Is Webshots taking a stand on this very divisive issue?

I am completely sickened by these demonstrations. Those that are legally here I welcome with opened arms. Those that are not should be deported back to where they came from and they should seek a legal means to be a United States Citizen in what should be kept an English-speaking nation. Thanks for the pictures. I saw one sign that said to deport Arnold. How ridicules is that? Arnold is married to an American and is not an illegal immigrant and therefore not suspectable to deportation. Illegal immigrants should not be here. They are breaking our laws and sucking our economy dry. There is no job I have for an illegal immigrant that "no one else wants to do" but my medical costs sure have skyrocketed to pay for illegals and this I do not appreciate. And this is only one aspect of the issue. Obviously, I am not a supporter of people being in this country illegally. Debbie in DC

I know my comment will be taken off because I disagree with the whole thing, but I'm going to say it anyway. I'm sick to death of whining ILLEGAL Mexicans that get free medical & education & everything else that no legal citizens could ever get. I am not anti-Mexican - I have a beatiful Mexican daughter-in-law & a Mexican son-in-law & 2 awesome grandchildren who are half Mexican. I'm just anti-freeloader. I lived in Southern California till recently & boy am i glad I'm out of there! Would never go back!

I believe that freedom of movement is a basic human right. Congratulations for the choice of topic! Looking at the photos I thought that one wouldn't be able to make such a rally in Europe - the "illegal" ones would risk getting detained and deported. It is a courageous event! Valeria from Bulgaria.

Congratulations on your beautiful featured album. It certainly captures the colors and vitality of the event! The caption, however, is bit off, isn’t it? The rally was not really for the rights of immigrants, but for the rights of illegal immigrants over the rights of a sovereign people to control its own borders. I am a legal immigrant, now a US citizen, and my rights have never been in question. Greetings from Florida, Paul.
