Hi Matthew! I'm sorry that I missed your Staff Pick in April. There are so many wonderful photos to look at on WS now and not enough hours in the day. Your album is gorgeous with all the spring blossoms. Getting to visit the National Arboretum must have been a real thrill. I wish I could visit every garden and arboretum in the US, but I'm smart enough to know there aren't enough years left for Bob and me to cover all that. :-)) Have a fun weekend. Sharon

Hi Matthew! Congratulations on having this lovely album chosen as the Staff Pick.. well done!! Sorry I missed the event, but honestly, I just do not have the time to be looking at all these extra things like Staff Picks, Photo of the Day, and Featured Member. It is a full-time job keeping up with my Favourite Members and associated g/b entries. But it is a "Buzz" to get the additional Views, so keep the ball rolling and gaining momentum. Notice that the Blog is partly restored -- just as well it was not our albums! Pleased you are enjoying my tour of Tasmania and more is coming soon. Thankyou for your message, best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia.

Hi Matthew, I really enjoyed this album, and have enjoyed keeping up with your blog, so I wanted to let you know I featured you in our staff picks this week so everyone can check out your photos and commentary. Amy (staffpicks.webshots.com)

Hi Matthew! Will write this separately in reply to your message. Firstly, your Blog co-operated much better this time, but I did not click on any of your other Links. Good detail for anyone planning a visit, but parking details, etc. are not of much interest to me. It is only recently that Webshots started publicising the number of fans each member has. I am not in favour of this and feel it should be Private Information for the member only. But as I said somewhere in the Blog, a member should Not be judged by their personal appearance (Profile Photo), who their Favourite Members are, or how many Friends they have -- all that is irrelevant to the quality of their photography. Having said that, each member also has to put in some effort to Marketing themselves. For example, if you are interested in Trains, do a Webshots photo search on Trains, check out those albums and leave a message in those guestbooks. Then those people will come to view your photos, and it snowballs. Also, if you look at the three Featured Albums every day and leave a message of Congratulations in their g/b's, most of them will come back and look at your photos. You have to Give in order to Receive!! The only way I found you was from your Blog entry, so that was a good start and I do not judge people by their number of Friends. You may have noticed that I am not impressed with the Thumbs Up thing, I do not have time to keep loading My Profile to check the new Message Board so I have set it so that no-one else can write in it, and I have changed My Options so as to prevent anyone naming me as a Friend. With so many Favourite Members, I just do not have the time to devote to Friends as well. Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia.

Hi Matthew! This Arboretum is a photographer's paradise and I think I would want to be there for a week! All that magnificent Spring Blossom is so beautiful, the Magnolias and other flowers are lovely, plus the Bonsai (which I have never grown), and the natural scenery are all beautiful. Thanks for sharing your enjoyable day's outing. Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia.
