I saw your photos (canoe trip without a river) on Webshots Popular albums last night! Bummer! I must've missed your report! It looked like one disappointment after another. Guess we all go thru those trips, don't we? But, we learn from our mistakes, and hopefully it won't happen again! Anyways, I found the info on the October Black Canyon Canoe Trip. This was a TRW trip for 20 yrs (aerospace), but our leader retired. Last year a guy who attended for several years (Stick man), took over. He works for Boeing (aerospace), so this year it was mostly Boeing's hiking club. I was the only TRW person. You'd never guess these were educated adults by the way we act. Everyone had a great time, and it was cool, because most of these people were new to this kind of behavior and really got into the partying! Scott (SnowDude) liked this group better. Younger, climbers & hikers, and more fun. The old leader didn't want us jumping over the fire, and we had to keep the noise down by 10:00. This year our party went on til midnight, then people went to the hot tubs to soak. If you're interested, let me know next July or September (will be on vacation August). It will be Oct 17-19 or Oct 24-26, 2003. And I promise, the river will have plenty of water!!!! Hmm, this won't take attachments. Send me a E if you're interested and I'll send the attachment.
