Having lived most of my adult life in Maine and visited Acadia more times than I can count, I have to say your photos are some of the best I have seen of the whole Mt. Desert area. Wonderful album and am so glad I stumbled across it. Best wishes! Ken - Maryland

Thank you for the great photos of this area - my daughter is currently working there and as we live in Australia it is so good to be able to see photos of the area where she is. Makes us feel closer to her.

Sharon, I love your beautiful picture of Frenchman's Bay. The Conservation Law Foundation - a New England environmental non-profit organization - would love to use your photo on our website, with proper credit to you of course. We recently helped local citizens and a shellfish farming company avoid a conflict by helping to develop rafts for mussel farming that will sit more than 10 feet under the surface of the water. Now this important economic activity can go on without disrupting sailers or the natural beauty of the Bay. Please let me know. Hello Sharon! We are never disappointed when we come back to your beautiful albums! Wonderful pictures from Jordan Pond and Eagle Lake! Phantastic beach photos! We would like to listen to the noise of Thunder Hole! Thanks Sharon for your nice guestbook words! We had temperatures up to the seventies. But now, it's colder and mostly raining... still no snow! Have a nice week! A hi for Bob! Love and hugs, Henri and Käthi

I truly enjoyed looking at your Acadia album as your pictures reminded me of all the great spots I missed on our trip there. You've really captured the park perfectly! Loved the lighthouse and the waves crushing against the rocks. So very Maine! But I really fell in love with the last picture taken at dusk! Very creative!

Thanks for your kind words about my albums. You have captured the spirit of Maine in this one!! Somes Bridge is gorgeous, and your interpretation of the lighthouses and shore are great. Glad you liked my state.

Hi Sharon, Your Acadia album is really fantastic, such great scenery photos! My favorite is Autumn Foliage, fantastic composition and colour. Nothing wrong with Maine! Greetings, Tjebbe

Sharon, Love the mixture of the lighthouses, fall foliage and the sand beach. You have so many beautiful albums! Awesome photos and photography as in all of your wonderful albums. We had a hard freeze in WV that will probably ruin the fall foliage here. I probably will not be able to take photos anyway due to complications so I will enjoy these beautiful albums at Webshots. Thanks so much for sharing Autumn In Acadia National Park. So much beauty in this album! Kay

Hi Sharon! Gosh! Acadia National Park is breathtakingly beautiful!!! I've always wanted to visit the northeast coast but never will. SO, THANKS FOR SHARING! I must say, though, that I really feel sorry for the poor folks who have to live in that mansion :-((((( I really would like to put them out of their misery and allow them to give the place to me!LOL Bob has a really nice photographer's stance!:-))))) The picture you are refering to is not the Rogue river. It's Applegate Lake (reservoir). It's really beautiful out there. You're welcome for the hail! We didn't want to hog it all. Thanks for that adorable card! It really put a smile on my face :-))))) You have so much energy to get out there and clean up the yard. Our's is littered with mounds of debris from winters high winds. There are thousands of small branches everywhere along with this years crop of fresh weeds. Aw, well, it's been to cold and wet anyway. I'm back to longing for spring weather again. Big hugs to you both! Have a beautiful weekend! Jane

I LOVE THIS ALBUM TOO. YOU MUST HAVE TRAVELED A LOT. I TOO AM RETIRED, A NATIVE OF OHIO, AND TRANSPLANTED TO MICHIGAN YEARS AGO. MY DAUGHTER LIVES IN BEAUMONT CALIFORNIA, SO I VISIT ONCE A YEAR AT LEAST. THERE IS SOME BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY AROUND THERE. I HAVE CHILDREN LIVING IN DIFFERET PARTS OF THE COUNTRY, SO GET OUT A LOT. I HAVE A DIGITAL CAMERA, AS WELL AS A 35MM SO HAVE WORKED WITH BOTH. DID YOUR MOTHER LIVE IN MISSOURI, OR WAS YOUR FAMILY FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE. I WAS ASKING, BECAUSE I GOT MY NAME FROM THE AMISH GIRL THAT TOOK CARE OF MY MOTHER 69 YEARS AGO WHEN I WAS BORN, AND I HAVE ONLY SEEN THAT NAME ONCE SINCE THAT, SOME YEARS AGO IN A NEWSPAPER NOTICE OF SURVIVORS RELATIVES OF THE CRASH OF FLIGHT 255 HERE AT DETROIT METRO. THAT WAS THE NAME OF THE PILOT'S MOTHER AND SHE WAS FROM PENNSYLVANIA. THANKS FOR SOME BEAUTIFUL PICTURES WAVA GEAN CROMWELL

Hi, Sharon - Thanks to your skillful and artistic photography, I finally have some great shots of Arcadia National Park! The few times I visited there, the area was always shrouded in fog, limited visibility, great for B&W photography. I will enjoy having your pictures roll by when my computer is idle. Now on to Glacier NP - another one of my favorites! Thanks for your prompt reply in the way of guest book entry, as well as your kind comments! And yes, I missed NH's foliage season which you so beautifully recorded, and am missing the current show storm while enjoying the warmth of FL's Gulf Coast.

Hi, Sharon thanks so much for your kind comments and encouragement in my Arran album. It seems a long time since I took those blackberry pics, I agree they would have made a lovely pie. Pleased you had a great thanksgiving these traditional meals usually result in overeating however the exercise in mowing the leaves would help to compensate.I am slowly working on the Spanish album and will hopefully complete over the weekend. The weather here is poor a lot of mist and heavy rain temp. is 45 degrees and falling.(Because of this we experienced a 12 hour delay on our return flight).Forgot to mention Sharon we did not actually see anything of the oil spill but now understand the position is a lot worse. Its a pity that the sea/wildlife will suffer because of this.I enjoy visiting your albums Sharon and in this one in addition to the ones previously mentioned Thunderhole 10060058 and the Jordan Pond with its beauitful colours are also superb pics. Will speak with you later my Kindest regards./Elaine.

There are so many beautiful scenery photos here. It is hard to choose a favourite, but I am fond of the carriage road and the rugged coastline. The whole album is vivid, clear and very nice. http://community.webshots.com/user/midnight_lace

Its always good to know what type of digitals people are getting. I have my eye on a new one too!!!! I use the Sony Mavicas series FD 83 (its 3 yrs old) and I have taken over 8,000 pics with it. My husband just got one from work and I may have used that one too on some picture. I did not use a special lens, just looked through a hole in the leaves as you can see. Hope I did not burn the lens, I tried to be careful!! Thanks for the compliment. I have been eyeing the SOny 4.0 cd camera I have only seen on line and not in stores. They no longer go by pixels with that one and use a new technology that is better. Maybe the old man will get it for me for Christmas!!! In Hawaii, between the two of us, we took 900 pictures, not all came out but you can see about half ended in Webshots! I carry my camer everywhere too! Even to the grocery store, just in case there is something special on the way! LOL. Yes a freakt photo bug. I have trouble close up on things with my eyes, Sony with its auto focus and beeps when ready does a perfect job 95 percent of the time. If not for that I could no longer take pictures! I am getting blind!@!! I gues its all the artwork. We use to have so much family in Colorado, I don't know who is who without my mom alive! Cousins of cousins! I love it there, so nice and dry, gorgeous country during the summer! Don't like the snowy winters any more though. Hope we will be in Florida or Va in a few years!I am so glad you contacted me! I chewed your ear! My email aquarian@optonline.net Gorgeous album especially like 3574-the perfect breaking wave. Take care..Ginger

Sharon, once again another great album. Superb water shots, scenery and colour taken in beautiful weather. As always it is a difficult task to choose favourites in your albums, but I particularily liked and enjoyed Eagle Lake 3536 and Bubble Pond at Dusk 10060080. Thanks for the pleasure of your albums Sharon they are really first class. Enjoy your Sunday. My Kindest Regards./Elaine.
