Album Description:
This album focuses on the area around the northern end of Lake Prespa next to the borders with Albania and Greece, where I spent a few days in May 05. There are many reptilian images, as they were very abundant at some sites. Some Wall Lizard IDs by Werne

Hi Konrad. It's Jim here from Portadown Northern Ireland and I like your photographs of the Balkans and the wildlife. The news we usually get from Eastern Europe is very negative so it's great to know that there is someone who is showing a different side to that part of the world. Thanks for the photos and no doubt I'll be receiving more from you again.

Konrad ~ Some of these photos are breath taking! I find it amazing how you get your 'subjects' to pose in the right place so you can take such fabulous pictures. Thank you so much for sharing. ~ Cindy/USA

Good evening Konrad: I finally was able to finish your album after many distractions. Great reptile shots as always. I really liked the map photos - it made the whole tour more meaningful to me to know where in the world this is. Thanks for the invitation! Jim

Hi Konrad, thanks for the invitation! What an interesting, very fascinating and gorgeous tour around Lake Prespa! I especially love all the scenery pics, the road and sunset ones are so beautiful, but I must admit the reptile pics also impress me deeply. Fantastic work, as always. I'd love to travel to Macedonia one day. I wish you the merriest Christmas time and all the best for the happiest New Year 2006! best wishes, Salla, Finland

What a great Christmas gift! Thank you so much for the invitation. I do appreciate the maps, I know so little about that part of the world. Your interest in snakes and lizards, does it come from your work? Or is it a hobby? Al from Ponemah
