Congratulations and thank you for sharing these great photos. I was stationed at NAS Oceana in the fall of '52 with VF 921 which was redesignated VF 84 in January '53. We flew F4U4's in 921 and transitioned to F8F2s then F9F5s in December '52. The base was still under construction then. Ray
