This was our layover day, so we hiked around Bear Lakes Basin and visited as many of the Bear Lakes that we could. Little Bear Lake was our favorite!

I really enjoy your pics. I have visited your website for several years now. Loved the pics from The Bear lakes.(Sept 2005) Didn't you and your husband worry about getting caught in the snow and not being able to get out! You two seem very experienced mountain hikers. Keep up the photos!
