    • Hello Jerry, I found your website through WN.......and I am truly impressed with the way you have shared your story, your love for your wife. It is a beautiful tribute. Thank you. Blessings, Jan P.S. I also had a tattoo on the 1 year anniversary of my husband's death. It is a heart with the letter "J" for Jack intertwined.

    • As I viewed the slide vidio, It almost seemed that Teresa is still alive. I know she is alive in heaven, but it still is hard to believe she is not here anymore. I appreciate the wonderful person she was. I am reminded of her warmth, smiles, encouragement, and faithfulness when I view her pictures. She may be gone from here, but her testimony will live on forever. Heaven surely is sweeter now with her there. I did not know Teresa for a long time, but she has left a mark in my heart that I will treasure.

    • She had not changed a bit since high school. I so regret not getting to laugh with her one more time. She was a strength and inspiration that I have never gathered any where else. She was sassy and persistant, kind and gentle. I love and miss her. Thank you Jerry for letting me see her and say good-bye in my heart. Thank you for loving her. May God continue to bless you.

    • Just wanted you to know that you will be in my prayers. I don't take those words lightly, as I know what God does through the prayers of His people. I cannot fathom your loss but know that it must be terrible to lose one you love so dearly and who was obviously a strong and Godly influence in your lives. You have my sympathy and, more importantly, my prayers. That is all I can do, yet it is everything. May God bring you peace in the loving memories and strength through the knowledge that she trusted Him, too. ~Kimberly

    • November 2, 2002 at 1:22 pm katie McFadyen wrote: I dont know who is going to read thi sbut its been on my mind for the longest time. I am Teresas niece, my father is David McFadyen brother of Jerry( Jerry and Kristy if you read this im pretty sure you were already aware of all that) When Iwas very little Our families were split apart when my parents were divorced. we never got along to well as far as I can remember and when there was no fighting it was when i wasnt around. But there in the beginning of the summer I started to see more of Teresa and Kristy and the rest of the family. Teresa and I got along better and she used to come into the store that I worked in to buy Kristy some clothes we joked around with each other and talked to each other but the several times she came into the store two simple words always stuck with me "hey sweety", her voice and the way she said them made me feel as if we were always family and always got along, and now even though shes gone I can often hear her say "hey sweety" and it makes me miss her even though i didnt know her well. Its kind of weird because now when i go out into public I see someone that looks just like her and i have to do a double take just to make sure. She died in July just after we started to get along and I feel like an opportunity was taken away from me an di miss her very much. One saturday i was driving by the cemetary where she was buried because its close by my house, and I decided to go see her, my tires screetched it was such a last minute decision to turn in. I looked all around for her grave but couldnt find it ( the headstone had not arrived yet) I was dissapointed that i couldnt find her so i went back to my car and sat there and cried, im even crying now. I wanted to tell her how well her family is doing and how good it is to be able to see kristy at school almost every day I get a chance. I wanted to tell her how well Kristy was doing at school that she has so many wonderful friends and so many people who care about her, i wanted to tell her how much i missed her and how much i wish i could have seen her more often and gotten to know her better. But i still talk to her sometimes in my mind whenever im not stressed out and ahve a trillion other things on my mind, And I will always ALWAYS think of her when i hear "hey sweety"

Makes me always wonder if he did not have the cancer, would I still have him in my life? Thank you for sharing. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.
