I never knew that Methodist Hospital Katrina was built to be a drug rehab center and i think there's a misunderstanding here... :-s

Is this a drug rehab center ? I thought it's one of the biggest cancer centers. However, it's a pretty impressive building.

I think that a drug rehab center will be last on the list of investments. Now they need to put people back in their homes or rebuilt homes. That requires money which are covered partially by insurance companies.

Such a beautiful place and marvelous photos you have taken. I'm thinking about a drug rehab location and your photos are mesmerizing me.

Hello, my name is Joseph. I was one of the Katrina Survivors who rode it out at Methodist Hospital with my mom, a physician at Mathodist Hospital, and my dad. We, like many others, spent a whole week in the hospital. Thanks for the pictures.

Your photos tell more than words. The images of rescue boats and water are dramatic. They touch my heart.

These pictures really give you a feel for the magnitude of the destruction. Thanks for sharing them. It must have been hard experinecing all this and still being able to record it so others could see and now what it looked like.

There are so pretty remarkable pictures as well as the people in them. It's hard for us all around sometimes to imagine exactly what everybody is going through and with pictures like these, the obscure becomes reality. We got to see just how hard everbody is working. I lost myself just imagining what it would be like to have to do everyday what those skilled and trained people do and I don't know that I could. They are all pretty special. Thanks for keeping me and everybody aware. Susan/S.C.

Sad, so sad. And heroic, too. Such sorrow that our fellow human beings suffer. "Each man's grief, my own." Thank you for these up close and personal photos of an unspeakable tragedy.

Congratulations on this feature today.Your photos are more deatailed and comprehensive than the TV and media shots. I see that in one of the photos you wear the hospital green as well as being a man of the cloth. If you should ever choose to be a news photographer, your photos prove that you could be as equally sucessful there.......thanks for sharing........Gene from Florida

May the force be with you, as you go thru all of this. I remember being in Florida as a child. I really was not fun. We were on the Withlacochee River when Camile came thru. We Lived upstairs in two bedrooms, for 4 weeks then the river went down. Please keen the faith, it will end and your life will be normal again. Jill Georgia, usa
