  • Dear Sir, I was honoured by your visit and appreciation of my featured album. Thank you so much for the kind comments. I was also surprised that, though a several times visitor to Japan, you have missed Hakone which is an area mostly and firstly visited by foreign tourists or visitors. Your album here is a very interesting and attractive photo-journey of a place that I'll never have the opportunity to see with my own eyes. Therefore I am glad that you are giving such detailed explanations. The gardens and the pavilions, the sights along the canals are very special, of mesmerizing beauty. I DO hope that this album will be featured and as such made popular all over the world. It really deserves it. Friendly greetings from Japan, Yoshiyuki Tanaka

  • Hi Suresh. A very elegant album created with style and skill. The silhouettes with the sunsets are my favorites. The album with commentary make for a more special visit. Your trip must have been magnificent. It is a distinction of the people to maintain these gardens for as long as they have. Here in the States one must fight to keep anything of history. The sake of advancement destroys much of the past. Some cities are worse than others and these cities have no foresight. Thank you for the invite!!! Eti

  • Dear Suresh! Thanks for the invitation. How nice that you keep travelling! How nice that you keep taking us with you on your trips! It always feels as if you know the place extremely well, through your stories and anecdots, and it creates a feeling of really travelling with you. This album is very interesting. For me it shows an unfamiliar place. It did often reminded me of Venice, but then came beautiful pagodas that I really enjoyed. Also loved the sunset shots. Thank you also for the message in my guestbook. Of course I agree with every word you said. I hope it can help in anything, but, honestly, I'm not very optimistic. Still I think it's worth trying. All the problems and the bad attitude drive good people to leave the community. It's too bad, because we have a lot of beauty and friendship here. Take care, Orly

  • Hello Suresh! How did I miss this when it first came out? In any case, I'm glad you added to it today so that it popped up in my window. It's beautiful! I never knew such a place existed, but then my knowledge of the east is sadly lacking. Thank you for giving me this beautiful lesson. Warmest regards from California, Beth

  • THANKS Suresh! Thanks to be my guide in far east (from my perspective :-) ) and to show me life and people from so different countries. This album that show life over the water is really fascinating for my eyes. It is, in effect, a strange mix of inusual and exotic situation with an enviroment that I have see in Venice (as you to you have remembered). Great photos for an excellent reportage! My compliments and my tahnks my guide Ruggero PS: I LOVE the quality of your portraits (I'm thinking at 41)

  • Congratulations Suresh on yet another outstanding album. Wow... what a beautiful part of the world so eloquently captured! Suzhou is a romantic place... such a feeling of relaxation, peace and harmony - subtle beauty... mysterious too! I love the Tongli and Shan Tang canals and those bridges, all different with character and charm. The way you captured the sunset on the bridge and the colours of the kites also impressed me. Thank you Suresh for sharing your outstanding photographs... you are a true artist. Ann (Australia)

  • Hello Suresh! The albums of your trips to the most exotic places on earth are always breathtaking. This one makes no exception. Suzhou, a place of which I never had heard before has some Venetian charactaristics indeed but on the other hand it still is typical Chinese. Your manificent photography makes it a great joy to travel with you and I am pleased with your invitation. Kind regards, Tjebbe

  • Suresh, you album reflects what was seen to what can "be" felt. I put the slideshow on, sat back and went traveling with you. I had NEVER imagined that place to look as it doe's. Thank you for letting me share this journey through your eyes, as I always feel your photo's are beautiful. I may never see these places for REAL, but your pictures take me, as close as I can get. Your photo's reflect the view of the photographer. I hope you have a lot more days to discover the world, I'm enjoying taking the ride with you.... Your Friend, Melody (I was afraid to write anything, I feel humbled by some of your works of art). I wonder where I shall travel to, in the next couple of years :),,, you make a lot of people smile, count me as one of them!

  • Hi Suresh! What a surprise, this beautiful and well executed album. Some plays are unmistakably Chinese, but others could be mistaken for Venice, Italy scenes. Until now I had never heard of this place, so thank you for showing me a bit of it. And it's of course an honour to be the first to comment!
