Started at North Lake and ended at Pine Creek Roadend. Only 1/2 of the first day and 1/2 of the second day were on trail we had done. In between was new for us, and xctry.

  • Cool shots buddy. Big Desolation Lake was my first backpacking trip way back in 1975. I remember it like it were yesterday. Caught my biggest Golden Trout ever on that trip at Big Des ( 1 3/4 lbs. huge for a Goldie ) Been back 3 times since. A little more crowded each time, but still, plenty of your own space. Did you make it to Golden Trout Lake ? Aboslutely beautiful !! Take care.

  • Just came back from a BP trip to Humphrey's Basin. Trip cut a little short because of all the smoke from the fires in Sequoia. Still nice though! First trip with a digital camera. I discovered your web site here while on the web planning for this trip. I just put my photos up there on webshots as well. Pretty cool I must admit. Sierragrizzly.
