Beautiful shot of the Columbia River Gorge - such vivid colors. Freddie is my cockatoo. I used to have Sparky and Koko. The others were taken at Colasanti Gardens in Ontario. Actually, that is where Sparky is now.

Sharon, thanks so much for visiting my album and saying nice things about Oregon. I haven't been to Multnomah Falls in decades! Thanks for the memories! I especially liked your zoo photos but the Japanese and Botanical gardens were great too. And, of course, these. Thanks for sharing and Happy Holidays! Jane/Oregon

Sharon...Still think that this should be a Featured Album because of all the beauty your photos show..This was one place I truly enjoyed when I was there in Aug 2000'..just being able to see God's artwork first hand..now to resee your awesome album again brings back so many fond memories from my trip..I just combined both my Columbia River Gorge albums, along with the Crater Lake albums this past week since Webshots has increased the number of photos per album from 36 to 60..Have a wonderful Thanksgiving & God Bless from Texas...Ken http://community.webshots.com/user/bigdaddy8x14

I enjoyed your photos of the Columbia River Gorge. I live in Pendleton, Oregon traveling I - 84 in the gorge often to go to Portland or down to central Oregon. I have wanted to take pictures of what I see along the I- 84 route but am always in a hurry to get to my destinations.... Thanks for such magnificent scenes, I downloaded them to my webshot collection.. I am interested as to where you live... If you travel back this way again, take Hwy 730 which will take you around to Washington state along the the Columbia River and see that part of the gorge, it is awesome.. Other great places in Oregon is along the John Day River.. Then from Wasco, Oregon go east to Condon, Oregon..... wonderful sights.....Then Hwy 197 from the Dalles, Oregon down to Hwy 97 juction around Maupin, Oregon. Some neat sights there too. Then aroun Shaniko to Antelope.. All this is different and off the beaten path... Thanks again for the great pictures...

Quick addendum. Right after posting I read your other comments and there was janeloughney -- she is another of my "four". It appears our tastes are similar even if your execution is better. If you are from Missouri you might want to look at pictures of Clinton, Warsaw (Truman Lake), Lake of the Ozarks, and Versailles Missouri in my latest posting.

Thank you for visiting my album. I'm always curious to know who comments and then take peeks at their albums, too. Yours have remarkable color in the flower pictures. Would like to visit the Indiana covered bridges -- my daughter will be a sophomore at Indiana University (we live in Omaha). It appears from your albums that you live in Missouri -- St. Louis area? I have always enjoyed the Columbia River Gorge and have driven it several times. So I enjoyed your July posting of the waterfalls and Crown Point. (My parents live in Oregon and I was born in Wenatchee, Washington.) I added you to "My Favorite Users". I only have four there so far -- you would like "rjmeyer&quo t; -- lives in Oregon and has lots of wonderful pictures in several albums.

Sharon, I just loved this album. You have captured the beauty of God so well. I have just been to most of these places, and in the past the rest of them. I loved the photos of yours that mine didn't turn out as well. I will soon have an album in. We went to Silver Falls State Park and it was beautiful. The sun wasn't just right for some of my photos, but you had great shots. We went to Mount Hood and it was clear and beautiful. It was cloudy and rainy the day we were in the gorge, but was still magnificent. Not as good for picture taking though. The Oregon Coast was great and had one day of clear weather. Thanks again for your sweet comments in my albums. God Bless, Jane

Great waterfalls Sharon! I am thinking of making an album of just falls like I did of the lakes. Yes, we have seen many gorgeous & wonderful things during the 80's & 90's. Now my husband is too ill to go anywhere so I love working with our pictures on the computer. I love sharing them with others & love to look at theirs too. Thanks for signing my guest book. Would love to really "talk" with you sometime. Keep making albums. Flo
