Hi Sharon, I have been enjoying this album of waterfalls. I like all your photos of the falls, but think you may have been able to get closer to the upper north falls for great shots. You are very brave to lean over the railing and shoot the falls straight down. My spine tingled just viewing your photo! - Best regards, DeeAnne

My wife and I are planning a trip into Oregon and then Idaho. I shoot phots as a hobby of nature and we both like to hike and enjoy the outdoors. Are there any natural unusual places to see while we are on this trip in july? Unusual like lava tubes or ice caves but not too far off the beaten path. Thanks in advance for you input.

Howdy Sharon, I figured it was time an stop by another one of your wonderful albums today. This one stopped me in my tracks, I LOVE OREGON! That's where hubby is from and we lived for 5 wonderful years before moving around the world! It's definitely Gods country and I miss it sooo much. We visted again this fall and they had to drag me away by the hair!! Oh, your photos are just so lovely (for lack of a better gushing word). I admire your talent, and especially love your animal photography. See you again soon, cowgirl greetings from Houston, Marita.

Hello Sharon, thanks for the Gb and the Swan family are now dedicated to you, Thankyou also for your very kind words, I could write a book about this album I have been through most of your albums over and over again, but somehow this one missed my eye. We travelled from Portland all way the way up the river Valley in 1995. We did not see the waterfalls, but we stopped at all the dams along the way. Mt Hood has another memory also, Driving into Portland from the Coast on a beautiful day we could see the ice cream cones of Mt Ranier, Mt St Helens (hers was of course blown off)and Mt Hood in Oregon. Oh for a panoramic Digital for that one, thanks for sharing your remarkable photographs and bring them memories flooding back. Good Luck and best whishes Ken

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful photo collections. In 2002, I downloaded the collection of the Columbia River photos, Mt Hood, and also numerous photos of your flowers. Since then I lost my collection of downloads. Thank heavens for webshots for perserving your photos and other favorites of my so I can reload to my new computer. I now can view those lovely photos once again. Again, thanks your photos are wonderful.

My dream is to move to Oregon or Washington some day. I love the cool and rainy climate and the benefit it does to the varied vegetation. So much more grows there than anywhere else. By the way, great pics of the waterfalls, although I did not see one of Salt Creek Falls. Have you been there yet? My aunt near Sun River and we stopped by Salt Creek on our way back to her house from the coast. It is the 2nd highest falls in the state and very picturesque. Thanks for sharing your photos. Hi Sharon! There are still albums of your wonderful collection that we haven't visited! You had a extaordinary trip in Oregon! We are impressed how high the Multnomah Fall is, and by the beauty of Mount Hood with snow and by all these so various Water Falls! Wonderful: the light on Columbia River! Thanks Sharon for three nice enries in our guestbooks! Yes, our Barbara's birthday is not so close to Christmas!!! (the 8!) and also my sister's is not "too bad". I added you to the December birthdays...! In a way, it's nice to be born in Christmas time, but not , when we think gifts and wishes... We are late with e-mails and guestbook entries: All the electricity in our house has to be replaced, so there is a mess around us und often power cuts... Enjoy your last roses so as we do! Love and hugs to both of you! Henri and Kaethi

Hi Sharon, I'm glad you enjoyed the Upper Geyser Basin photos. I post several geyser albums for all my geyser friends throughout the country. If you have trouble identifying any of your geysers of waterfalls of Yellowstone, I would be glad to help you out. I found your other photo albums and enjoyed going through them. I also like your many flower albums and am thinking of posting an album of my wildflowers of the Rocky Mountains. Keep on shooting.....Mike

Beautiful shot of the Columbia River Gorge - such vivid colors. Freddie is my cockatoo. I used to have Sparky and Koko. The others were taken at Colasanti Gardens in Ontario. Actually, that is where Sparky is now.

I enjoyed your photos of the Columbia River Gorge. I live in Pendleton, Oregon traveling I - 84 in the gorge often to go to Portland or down to central Oregon. I have wanted to take pictures of what I see along the I- 84 route but am always in a hurry to get to my destinations.... Thanks for such magnificent scenes, I downloaded them to my webshot collection.. I am interested as to where you live... If you travel back this way again, take Hwy 730 which will take you around to Washington state along the the Columbia River and see that part of the gorge, it is awesome.. Other great places in Oregon is along the John Day River.. Then from Wasco, Oregon go east to Condon, Oregon..... wonderful sights.....Then Hwy 197 from the Dalles, Oregon down to Hwy 97 juction around Maupin, Oregon. Some neat sights there too. Then aroun Shaniko to Antelope.. All this is different and off the beaten path... Thanks again for the great pictures...

Quick addendum. Right after posting I read your other comments and there was janeloughney -- she is another of my "four". It appears our tastes are similar even if your execution is better. If you are from Missouri you might want to look at pictures of Clinton, Warsaw (Truman Lake), Lake of the Ozarks, and Versailles Missouri in my latest posting.

Thank you for visiting my album. I'm always curious to know who comments and then take peeks at their albums, too. Yours have remarkable color in the flower pictures. Would like to visit the Indiana covered bridges -- my daughter will be a sophomore at Indiana University (we live in Omaha). It appears from your albums that you live in Missouri -- St. Louis area? I have always enjoyed the Columbia River Gorge and have driven it several times. So I enjoyed your July posting of the waterfalls and Crown Point. (My parents live in Oregon and I was born in Wenatchee, Washington.) I added you to "My Favorite Users". I only have four there so far -- you would like "rjmeyer&quo t; -- lives in Oregon and has lots of wonderful pictures in several albums.

Sharon, I just loved this album. You have captured the beauty of God so well. I have just been to most of these places, and in the past the rest of them. I loved the photos of yours that mine didn't turn out as well. I will soon have an album in. We went to Silver Falls State Park and it was beautiful. The sun wasn't just right for some of my photos, but you had great shots. We went to Mount Hood and it was clear and beautiful. It was cloudy and rainy the day we were in the gorge, but was still magnificent. Not as good for picture taking though. The Oregon Coast was great and had one day of clear weather. Thanks again for your sweet comments in my albums. God Bless, Jane

Great waterfalls Sharon! I am thinking of making an album of just falls like I did of the lakes. Yes, we have seen many gorgeous & wonderful things during the 80's & 90's. Now my husband is too ill to go anywhere so I love working with our pictures on the computer. I love sharing them with others & love to look at theirs too. Thanks for signing my guest book. Would love to really "talk" with you sometime. Keep making albums. Flo
