    • The festival you saw had a much better backdrop than the one I saw, Yair, which had orange plasic covering a fence around the sculptures so I found it difficult to avoid getting that in my pictures. You had the perfect position. Belated congratulations on such a wonderful album of incredible sand sculptures. Regards...Sue

    • Hello Yair, my friend. I just stopped here to tell you a million thanks for your well wishes for my challenge win and feature!Sorry for being soooo sllloooooowwwww.The last few days have been wonderfully crazy and exciting! What a thrill not only to be able to enjoy this wonderful city and capture it’s beauty but also to be honoured to win the challenge, especially with ALL these INCREDIBLY talented people entering, and have this Magical Moment on the Thames at night featured! I am so awed by the number of people I’ve never heard of or seen for that matter who stop and leave nice messages, but there are none more special than the ones which come from good friends (and challenge buddies) such as you :D! Thanks so very much, I am happy you enjoyed it too! I am also excited about your trip to iceland, keep me up to date!Shabat Shalom! Marita

It's difficult to imagine how this often very delicate sculptures could be realized and "maintained in life" - for how long?. All our admiration to these artists (and the photographer!) Are these festivals annual, i.e. present this month? - Best wishes: Kaethi and Henri P.S. Thank you for your kind g-

    • Hi Yair, you expressed interest in seeing my Texas Sand Festival photos, so thought I'd let you know that I've now posted mine. Pls stop by for a look. It was our first time to see sand sculpting and we were awed to see what talent can produce in such a short time with only sand/water. Having seen your album, it was also interesting to note the difference in the general demeanor of the two events. As always, I enjoy your work-thoroughly enjoyed your new Pineapple guava album. Lived in Hawaii some years ago and familiar with guava, but not this....sounds tasty and what a beautiful flower! EJ/Texas

We had a sand sculpture festival in Brighton, UK, last summer too, which was amazing. • Dear Yair! Thank you for comments to my album. It is so pleasant to hear from far country. The daughter of my friend from Tallinn a month ago visited your country. She is working in traveling agency and she was excited a lot about beauty of your country and cathedrals…. I was living in Tallinn Estonia about 25 years and in Slovenia only 1,5 year. I like to see a beauty around… I have visited your albums and was excited the best way. For me it was opened through your pictures the new vision of the nature. Your collection of bees shows somehow deep feeling of nature. A lot of new ideas. Your collection of owls. It was opened for me a lot of things I have never seen and it was opened new vision of the world. Thank you for energy you give to the world. How nice that photography sharing give us chance to contact with deep personalities and to experience bright emotions. Light do not need a lot of words but a lot of love. Who see through the heart, see everywhere LOVE. Warm wishes from Ljubljana, Slovenija. Happy New Year Natalja

    • My favorite is "Universal Beauty". It's fun. This reminds me that we share a common thread with people overseas (I am in the USA). I think it is an unfortunate common beleif, here, that Americans are way above just about everyone else. We are paid more for work here than other places, and it is a common conception that that is right. This art makes me feel people on the other side of the world are capable of as fine or finer work than our men. Americans try to hold on to our weath, but I'm glad exporting, gifting, and such happens so we can share a bit. God and Jesus'' blessings to all :-).

    • Shalom Yair, thank you for inviting me to see this album of yours....kinda puts my sand album to shame really! But different levels....hey and sand quality maybe?!!!! :) Its so amazing the details in each of them. At the one held in Cannon Beach, Oregon they had a time limit of less than 4-6 hours to complete their entry. Do you know what the time span to work on their masterpieces took? Thank you for sharing such a fascinating event, your photos truly capture enormous detail that certainly does the artist justice in what they were trying to convey. Have a wonderful week and many thanks also for taking the time to view my albums. All the best and many happy blessings and peace, amy
