  • What a wonderfully creative person you are! I will never look at the glass tables ful of "junk" at thrift shops the same again. Thank you for the inspiration.

  • Oh Connie! I am in such awe of your talent sweet pea! Is there ANYTHING you CAN'T do? :-) I doubt it. Your creations are amazing and so beautiful. I love them all and have enjoyed viewing all your pics and "visiting" your garden which is just a fantasy "secret garden" with all kinds of surprises (fairies, deer, mirrors, cherubs, even the adorable bear). I feel like a little girl in wonderland! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home, garden, family and talent with all of us! You've made my day! :-) I can not begin to imagine all the time and work as well as the very obvious love you put into your home and garden. You are one very talented and creative lady...who needs Martha Stewart? There's Connie! lol I love everything Victorian too so you have lit up my Victorian heart with all your creations as well. I'm going to "steal", well, I prefer borrow if you don't mind, some of your ideas for the totem poles and I would love to do the mirror garden AND the amazing garden ladies. Will you share your secret of putting together the pvc pipe for them? I have agorophobia (fear of open spaces and in my case, fear of leaving my house very much) and anxiety/panic which leads to depression. I'm working very hard on getting my life back because I'm no quitter...just got overwhelmed by too much stress and PTSD from childhood abuse. Anyway, not trying to complain, just wanted to let you know how much sunshine and how many smiles and joy your creations and garden pics have brought to me! Thank you SO much for being kind enough to share them so all of us can enjoy them. I hope to come join your craft group because I think it would be wonderful therapy for me and help me reach inside myself for some of the crafting ideas I used to have myself. Not that I have anywhere near the talent you have Mz. Connie! YOU are full of talent and great ideas girlfriend! I am truly amazed at your God given talent and gifts. He gave them to you for a reason and helping me and others feel better by just viewing your creations is certainly one reason I think. I certainly hope you have won numerous awards in your community too because your house and yard are beautiful. No, make that gorgeous and so creative. Thank you SO much! And God bless you always and may His angels always surround you and your loved ones with light, protection and happiness! You have brought me a lot of happiness today hon. Bless you! • Hi, Connie, What a wonderful idea for using 'left over' items. I enjoyed looking at your creations. I may "steal" your idea and try to make something out of some of the itmes that I have collected over the years that I have been trying to figure out what to do with. Thanks so much for sharing. judy c.

  • Hi Summer.... Was thrilled to hear from you. Thanks so much for the complaments. Regarding the ceiling mural, it took me 2 1/2 to 3 days. Did it all with sponge/left over house paint/and printing out pictures from the internet. Was super easy and no. I have no painting gift what so ever. Is all I can do to paint a straight line. Just dab dab dab is all and used elmers glue to glue on the pictures :) If you'd like to join my craft group be happy to have you. We all discuss all sorts of crafts plus is a GREAT ground of women!! We discuss any and everything. Link for it is here.... http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Shabby_Chic_Garden_Junk/?yguid=111897158 Again thanks and hope to see you in on the board :) Hugs Con.....

  • Hi, Connie, What a wonderful creative mind you have! I thoroughly enjoyed looking at your handiwork. I may "steal" the window yard sign from you and have a cool one-of-a-kind in my neighborhood, but the rest of what you've done is beyond me! The ceiling -- how long did it take? It's amazing. And Jen's graduation cake -- what fun! Was it all edible? The candy molds with plaster up the steps - well, they were grand! Thank you for sharing your creative abilities with us! Summer7027@aol.com. BTW - I'm CJ! :-)
