  • Dearest Laura, I went to the very end. What a pity that they disappeared so suddenly without your having the chance to see them go. I loved this story and.....look forward to a continuation next year!!!I found in this album some photographic jewels:#11/12/40/44/45/57 and 65.Very good shots! As your feature today is showing your story is loved by so many people from all over the world. Isn't this great?! My very best to you, dear girl! Gabriela

  • This ablum made me cry! You have touched the heart of a softy here. Having the opportunity to see the little things in life grow and grow up is just wonderful. Isn't is just amazing how fast these little guys grow and leave home? The oldest one is so big compared to the littlest one, but nature takes care of all. Hopefully, all babies will return next spring and then eventually with their mates to your "little pond" and wonderful river access. One thing I have learned, creatures only stay if they feel safe and are loved, so I am sure some of them will return to your "little haven." One of many favorites is "Later the same Day." Thank you Laura for sharing your tale with us. Lynn, Bonanza, Oregon.

  • Hi Laura. Had to come visit and see how the story went. I am sad that they have moved on. I so enjoyed all your lovely photos and your great story telling. Thanks so much for creating Fred & Ethel's story around your fine photos and sharing it with all of us. My best to you, Dynna

  • Hi Laura. These albums must be special because I stayed for both albums and I only have slow old dial up. The geese were beautiful and you did a wonderful job putting the story together. I'll bet you felt very empty in your tummy when they left and I hope they do come back. I thank you for putting this lovely album together and sharing it with us. Catch you later my friend. Hugs and best wishes Al..

  • Oh my, I am so sad! I hope they do well. This is a Disney movie in the making. What good parents Fred and Ethel are. Amazing! I love the image of proud Ethel standing there with the pond in the background. Just wonderful. Your narration brings life to the story. Tell Breadman hi and thanks for being so kind to F and E. Have a good day. Eti PS: I wish I could take credit for naming the goslings but it wasn't me!

  • Hi there Laura. By all means leave my g/b entry in. No worries whatsoever. I've been on my day trip today to Hereford and Hay-on-Wye. The weather was dull with some rain, so my pics are rather drab, sob, sob!! I'm too tired to finish off the albums now. My bed is calling me. Oh, by the way, I took a pic of Harriet whilst she was typing her g/b entry to you. I will put it into my 'Your Favourites' album, so you can see her. She's back at school on Monday, then when school brakes up for the summer holidays, she'll be going on her holidays whilst I'm in Italy. Have I told you I'm going to Rome for 3 weeks at the end of July. So I won't probably see Hattie until nearly the end of August. Take care dear Mother Goose as I've been told that's what we call you now. Guess who told me? Luv n'hugs Jayne xx

  • Hiya Laura. How very sad that Fred and Ethel's family moved on, but at the same time, what a pleasure it must have been to have those two big guys and nine little ones around for as long as you did. I have been so captivated by this story, along with all your other avid fans, you know what this means? We shall all now be eagerly awaiting the arrival of your next book, lol!! Only kidding ofcourse. We'll just have to wait and see what you will surprise us with next!! Bet you feel a little bit lost without Fred and Ethel and the goslings. You must have gotten really attached to them. I would have done. I see you managed to retrieve my g/b entry and I did notice that it's the one with all the mistakes in. Never mind. Hattie was thrilled to choose a photo today and she just loved your story and the pics. She typed your g/b entry all by herself and worded it herself too and she's only 6. I'm off on my travels again tomorrow. A coach day trip to the Golden Valley, which includes, Hay-on-Wye, Hereford, Tenbury and Worcester. Unfortunately the weather forecast is for rain. Ugh!! Typical.... Must love and leave you here dear Laura and get my 'beauty' sleep. Want to be fresh for my trip don't I? Luv n'hugs Jayne xx

  • Dear Laura, It is sad to see them go, but I am sure Fred and Ethel will return and raise many more young on your lovely pond. It was fun to follow this story with you and made even better by the beautiful scenery surrounding them. Wishing you a wonderful week in your little (although not so little) Utopia! Love and Hugs, Candy

  • Hi Laura. I am so sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. I do appologise. Please forgive me. School is always very hectic and I'm alwyas shattered when I get home each evening. We're on holiday this week, so I've been trying to catch up on some jobs. No that I'm doing so well, because yesterday I spent the day in Lichfield. Truth is, there just isn't enough hours in a day to get everything done, which you'd like to. Having said that, I hope I'm forgiven. I'm with you know and as the saying goes, better late than never!! Well, what can comments can I add about this masterpiece album, that haven't possibly already been said? Your photography is of exceptional quality and your imagination is marvellous. I am a wee bit envious of your talent. My favourite pics from the new additions are #63 and #94. I have so very much enjoyed the story and watching Fred and Ethel's babies grow. You should think about getting this book published. I'm serious. Thank you so very much for > all your numerous recent g/b entries. It is always a joy to hear from you. Hope you and your body have recovered from all the hard work you've been putting into you garden lately. Please don't overdo it. Would hate you to do injury to yourself. I'll be back to look at your other albums this evening and that's a promise. Enjoy your day. Luv ya loads, I really do..... Jayne xx

  • My dearest Laura, That is one spectacular album. It would be so beautiful on a flip album with music to go with it. You have such a way with words that one feels as though they are right beside you as you take the pictures. I have not been on the computer too much this past week as we have been busy with water in the cellar. We have been pumping out for days now and at one point the pump just could not handle it as the water table was rising so fast. We got the cellar dried up but the pump was still working when the power went out for about an hour this morning. Now I must get back to work but took this Laura break to view this spectacular album. Thanks for keeping you camera clicking. Love, Janet
