  • hi- I have spent the entire morning oowing and awwwing at these awesome albums. I am an amateur photographer myself and WOW these are absolutely breathtaking. I have a new daughter-in-law- who comes from Japan and hasn't been back in several years. I think I must have overloaded her computer with your pictures. I know she will be overwhelmed at the beauty of them as I was. You sure have "the Eye" for these shots. Each and everyone of them is fabulous. I will be coming back to visit soon. I'm suppse to have eye surgery in a few days/ That's why I was 'drinking' in as much of the beauty as I possibly can before. Thanks so very much for such a wonderful morning and for sharing your gifts with us. I will be back.!!!!!

  • Hi Sharon, Thanks again for your nice comments on my tulip fields, but I don't live in Seattle. I'm just north of San Francisco, but I'm definitely NOT a Giants fan! They don't really understand baseball out here. And once a redbird, always a redbird. I grew up in Florissant and figured anyone with as many photos of you have of the Botanical Gardens and in so many seasons must make you a St. Louisan and hence, a Cardinal fan! Elementary, as Holmes would say ;-) I just downloaded two more of your gorgeous shots - makes me homesick to see them. I'm adding you to my favorite users so I can keep up! Cheers, Beth

  • Hi Sharon! We hope you'll find soon such wonderful springflowers again!!! No more snow now? How nice to walk in this beautiful English woodland garden, to discover the white tulips with the lovely pensies or to admire the colors of the azalees... Thanks Sharon for choosing the rose for Bob's birthday! We've put his name! Yes, these flowers arrived for Henri (when we got back from hospital) from our Barbara (bao666) in Geneva. Thanks for your get well wishes!!! Every day, he feels better, just difficulties to get out from bed: a bad gymnastic... You are very busy? We hope you are both fine! Love and hugs to both of you! • HI Sharon, This is another incredible album! I've been to one of our local botanical gardens...but not in the spring! I think I'm going to have to come in from the hills and all the wildflowers to experience the beauty of the gardens!!! It's so hard to decide which way to go when you only have one day a week to "play!" These pictures are gorgeous...every single one of them!!! I can't wait to look through more of your albums (although I've seen many of them before!) Thanks, again, for sharing! God bless, Lynn

I too am a photgrapher hoping to save up for a 4x5 Sinar view camera soon. From one photographer to another...God Bless, and Please, keep uploading those enjoyable photos. You might check mine out. Of course I haven't gotton anywhere gorgeous yet, but I want to get up to Moraine and Herbert Lakes in Alberta, and the town of Jasper, Alberta above the Ice Fields Parkway Highway...there's also Peyto Lake...Oh, we could have a field day up there! Good Luck Always! Colleen.

  • Hey Sharon! I'm sooooo glad you didn't drown or get blown away!!! We still have wind and rain and our azaleas and rhododendrons are starting to bloom! How can I get pics in this weather!!!! The bird feeder is outside the window hanging from the peak of the roof. I make them get used to seeing me through the window moving around a little. They sometimes now just eat and watch me. Others are skittish and fly away. Don't you feel sorry for the jay with the broken beak:-((((( It seems to be doing very well though. If the sun would shine it would look just a little bit like these gorgeous pics, here! Ha Ha! Guess who's here to snack at the feeder! He doesn't like the camera this morning! This album really needs to be featured!!!!!!!! Everyone would adore it! Looks like they already do!!!!!!!Hugs, grins and tickles! Jane

Thanks for your comments on Don's lake. Don is one of my Christian brothers from church. These pictures were taken at his home away from home about 20 miles southwest of Sullivan, Mo. It's a beautiful place. You can only get there by taking a four wheel drive truck. I don't know how he ever found the place to begin with. Gotta go. Have a good day, Dwight

  • Hi Sharon: I am back sorry it's been awhile. You have out did yourself again with the beautiful Cherry Blossom tree in the Japanese Garden, another download for me. I went to see my Son in Oklahoma, he is still out of a job. I feel so sorry for him and his family. I took some photos but haven't had them developed yet. I have not been able to see the Cardinals yet, or go to the Mo. Botanical Garden yet. I have been working in my yard cleaning up the gumballs, wirleybirds, grape clusters from the neighbors trees. A couple of my Azalaes didn't make it this Spring. I planted three Rose bushes, Some Daybreaks, and Clemintis. With mowing, weeding, and cleaning up after Winter and the house cleaning, I am finding out a year older does not help the old body work faster, only slower :-(. Thank you for the nice Comments in my Album. The Spring Break in Virginia Bay was sent to me by my Oldest Son, when my Grandson was their. He sure is enjoying his new JetSki. I would like to go see my Oldest and grandson, but they live so far. I pray I get to see Josh for the Summer. It's been almost three years. The trip to Oklahoma was long, 6 hours one-way. I drove and the longest trip made with my new car 2001. I had it up to 90 and didn't realize it. I looked at the 90 and thought I better slow it down before the Highway Patrol got me, or I started to fly to heaven. I haven't drove like that since my younger days. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful photos. Will talk with you later. You and Bob have a great day!! Lucky sends his love, and hugs.Shirley

Its album of the garden created at the 16 of January 2003 is very very special for me, and I keep some precious scenes. Maintain his work. I congratulate it by the beauty that puts before our eyes. God has put it like gift for many of which we admired its photographies. Warm greetings from Spain. Jesus.

  • To Kimmy, Thanks for the lovely comments regarding my albums. Since you don't have any albums for public display under user name babykimmy, I am hoping you will look at this album again so I can answer your question. No, I am not a professional photographer. My husband and I just take photographs for a hobby and find much joy in seeing all the beautiful things God has created for us to photograph. And even though we spend a great deal of time at the Missouri Botanical Gardens, each time we go there it's a photographer's dream because of the changing of the seasons or a different flower or tree happens to be in bloom. I am glad you are getting to visit "our favorite place" through my albums. Sharon

First of all, thanks so much for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments!!!:-))))) I spent all day yesterday and most of the day before going through pics and trying to resist the urge to start another spring album. As you saw, I failed!!! You must have one happy male cardinal now that his mate is back! Did Bob get a sunburn? LOL! Your weather really warmed up fast! Ours warms up and cools down and warms back up to cool down again. Typical. No thank you for the gumballs!!! I hope you love your Jackson & Perkins roses. What colors did you get? We have three daughters and the youngest is still at home but out of school. And we love having her! And she loves the low rent! How about your family? Poor Bob!!! I will have a rose tree this year because I now live in an apartment...which explains why I was able to spend so much time with my camera last summer. I used to have a nursery called Windflower Farm. You can see a bit of it in my picket fence album. The roses I have pictues of were captured at Priest Point Park here in Olympia. Thanks again for all your wonderful pictures. • Hi Sharon. Thank you for your comments on "My Paintings". I'm not very good at painting from memory. I usually take two or three pictures and take a little bit from each one and make one painting. I don't consider myself a good artist, there's flaws in all my paintings. Most people can't see them, but I know they are there. I'm in the process of retaking pictures of some of my paintings with my digital camera and replacing them on Webshots. You will notice the difference when I'm finished. Spring will be here soon, and more beautiful flowers to photograph. I look forward to seeing more of your great photos. Dwight

I have just completed my tour of this album which I had deferred because of holiday activities. It is simply gorgeous - the color, composition, the setting equal to that of Butchart Gardens and others. With the help of your photography, I literally feel like being there and enjoying the sights and scents of all those blossoms (even though some do not have any). brunosmi/francismi/misrmi brunosmi@yahoo.com - in case you wish to use it

Bianca has been staying at our house this weekend too so I will be busy too doing the laundry tomorrow. I miss her when she goes home and get the same (where's the grandaughter) withdrawals but she does not live that far away. we have just been sending Instant messages to one another since she left this afternoon. • Double checked all you pics and the waterfall will definitely be painted and probably combine more of the flowering bushes and flowers from other pics. If that is aok? They are all super pictures!

  • Hello. Thanks for you comments on my album. In answer to your question-Ajuga reptans is the proper name. It comes in green and purple forms. It's a great ground cover that looks good most of the year in sun or shade. It can look a little raggedy in very dry conditions but comes right back with rain or watering. It is available in most of the garden centers here in W. PA. and seems to be a popular plant in this area. It doesn't bloom like in the photo all the time but the purple variety looks really good even when not in bloom. Very easy to grow. Thanks again for sharing all your wonderful photos!

  • Hi Sharon, These gardens are amazing and I would love to go there someday thanks to all your beautiful photos. You have done a terrific job of capturing the beauty of God in this amazing album. I don't live anywhere close to a garden like this and it takes me there with your photos. My son lives in Kansas, so maybe someday I can go there when visiting him. Jane
