Album Description:
I drove the first 12.5 miles of the Saline Valley Road so that I could climb Waucoba Mountain. After I came down from Waucoba, I decided to drive all way way out to HWY 190 via the Saline Valley Road.

Now I am consumed by envy! Have tried to do this drive twice. Years ago, took standard rental car about as far as your photo #18, road deteriorated, time short, turned back. In 2000, rented jeep in Bishop between Sierra trips, got as far as narrow canyon before valley proper, flat tire. Looks like they graded the road just for you. A charmed life!
