Hi, Enjoyed this album very much, but the hike looked a pretty tough one. Well worth the effort though. The flower in 1 and 35, is almost certainly an anemone, because of its thick stem and 4-petaled flower. Loved the geodes, they are so beautiful. I love crystals growing naturally in rocks. So pleased you included them. When you're hiking ,and you find things like this, or fossils, or bones, for example, are you allowed to take them home and keep them? Thankyou for sharing this exciting experience with us..I look forward to looking at more of your albums. I send you best wishes from England, Sheila.

Dr. Larry Blakely, lives in Bishop, and is the best contact I've found for plant ID in this area. http://elib.cs.berkeley.edu/cgi/img_query?query_src=photos_flora_index&enlarge=0000+0000+1102+0238

Those fingernails are very impressive! Very cool geodes. The mystery white flower looks like some sort of primrose. The foggy full moon shot is awesome.
