I have only just found your post on the VW vortex forum, and ended up here. Any way. The brake pipe nut you are looking for is VW part No: 1H0 611 731A, here in the UK it is used on A3 Golfs ABS, I have had a look at the USA ETKA and you also had that nut on A3 Golfs, you can get you local shop to make you the pipe you require without any trouble. That nut is M12 but has the same size pipe ans head as a normal M10 nut. I hope this helps. Cheers, Dave. P.S. Great photos.
