Dear Ina, This feature came before my visit as I was occupied to comment my India albums; This album is a tribute to America and its past; It is also a kind of confirmation of the name of Death Valley! I loved the symbolic leading image, the landscape 3, the view through windows 10, the beautiful Joshua tree 13, the antic Fordson tractor 25, the wagon & details in 27, 28, 31, the Machinery 34 (an interesting view of the past tools),the awesome reflection in 39, the whiskey bottle in 58, the rust and wood textures of 63, all the strange images of the Rhyolite Bottle House specially the fence 79 that is my preferred, the train window 83 and the colourful last picture 87; Congratulations & affection, Jacques

You did it again Ina!!!, wonderful display showing your creativity and good photography. Three features in three months WOW!!!! I like # 39 the best, of course there are many othes. The subject is kind of sad, but it is also nice take pictures and report about a beautiful "cemetery&qu ot;. Living in California I had the luck to visit many ghost towns and I really liked the feeling, almost as spirits of the past would talk to me through the whispering of the wind. Oh, my goodness...I am REALLY hung up on this album since your feature helped me and the world discover your awesome work. I don't seem to be able to move past it...I keep coming back to it. I've downloaded numerous screensavers and I've sent multiple e-cards encourageing friends and family to visit you through WEBSHOTS. I don't know how to state my awe otherthan to say simply...I LOVE THIS ALBUM! I would attempt to name my favorites starting with your lead shot, followed by 6,7,19 and 33 but then I'd have to make sure to include all of your pictures taken of the bottle house. Before you know it, I'd have to name them all...I appreciate so much your talent of capturing the beauty found amongst rust and dust. It's something I've tried to do for more years than I'll say but have obviously failed miserably. I haven't even added my "rust and dust" pictures to WEBSHOTS and know I have another reason for keeping it that way...I would be totally embarrassed to do so after viewing these. I'm so excited to discover your beautiful work. I've made you one of my favorites so I can visit often. While I certainly hope you'll add more photos, I can live with these for a long time. Hi again and thanks for the visit to my GB. I especially appreciate the comments on the individual pieces. I've been having a bit of a problem w/ light so it's good that you should have mentioned that. Have you noticed any noticeable problems w/ the lighting in my pics if you don't mind me asking? It's a sony cybershot without being able to attach any kind of filter. It's just I've been viewing your work and admire it. I trust your judgement. I see similarities in our style too. Ina, Thanks so much for your input and comments. I'll do as you suggested. I noticed the blue tint also and that's after Smart fix on photoshop elements. P.s. There is no way to attach a lens to this model of cybershot :0( so I was holding sun glasses in front of the lens. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Oh well...Lesson's learned. LOL Susan

Love your pictures! Judging by this album, I think you'd love our home. We live in gold country, surrounded by 100 year old log cabins, and 50 year old car wrecks. My husband and son both love photography, so we wander the mountains around here on a regular basis, looking for interesting landscapes. Keep up the great work! Cherise
