  • The temples of Bangalore & Hampi were indeed fetching. Your love for the Indian architecture is very commendable. Bangalore is a garden city with Bannerghatta wild life, Ulsoor lake boating & of course various beautiful temples. Thanks for sharing a part of the city.

  • This is the second time I have come across the name "Bangalore." The first one was an album devoted to a boat named "Bangalore." So now eventually I have arrived at the right stop, the place I was born. Thank you for sharing this wonderful album, your imagery is fantastic. Well, I will not comment on my birth place cause there is nothing to comment. Thank you for sharing your amazing works. - Anup

  • Dear Jacques! I viewed with great interest the many photographs of your trip in the state of Karnataka. Your people pictures are, as always, exquisite. Every time I see these pictures I admire your watchful eyes to capture the smiles of the people. As you would have noticed in your travels in India, people here love to be photographed, though they may show shyness in the beginning. The pictures are as usual so well captured with detailed captions. I too enjoyed my trip to Hampi. It is a place full of history. Thank you for sharing them. Best wishes Suresh

  • Hi Jacques! After seeing one of your India albums, I feel like coming out from a movie, when you leave the theater and go out, and the light and city traffic bring you back to reality. So powerful is the slideshow, transporting you in another world! Again, I love the sculpture and architecture (the colored temples #2/12/33) - and as always, your portraits of the people. The man in #32: I don't know what he's showing in #34 - is it a fruit? But the close-up of his hands is incredible. Beautiful! Also, the children portraits, especially the boy in #10 is worthy of National Geographic cover. The sunny smile and those incredible brown eyes - superb photography! I love also the exquisite colors in #29 - are they pigments? And I love the cute monkeys in #39 - their expression is so human! And another truly remarkable shot is the woman making bread (#43) - Your pictures are splendid! Photo-journalism at its best! Love, Ina in Canada
