I congratulate you for your captivating album of pictures. A nostalgic journey for me, tinged with a lot of sadness and awakened feelings of hostility towards the Japanese occupiers who caused so much terror, pain, and barbarous murder in this beautiful city. "Lest we forget" those who perished so tragically during the years following the fall of Singapore. I went there as a British soldier at the end of the war while war crimes trials were going on. I am so glad that such a creative transformation has taken place; God bless you for recording the beauty of this place.

It is fantastic that your album got featured, John, healtfelt congratulations.Singapura - lion city, was my home for the 4 years prior to moving to Houston 2 years ago. I am already so homesick for the place! Your photos show some of the very special sides of Singapore. Were you there at Chinese New Year, the God of Wealth looks like the one they put up during the River Hongbao? The clock in the botanical garden must be new. I have never lived in a place where things change so quickly I think in the 4 years we were there they rebuilt the whole city?!!?I invite you to come visit my Singapore albums sometime.
