  • Wonderful pictures Ina, thanks for sharing. I was raised in Bishop and miss it more than words can say. Seeing the snow covered Mt. Tom brought me much comfort, I remember it from my childhood, brillant blue sky, white mountains snuggling us to safety. I'm wondering if John Fischer's mother was my grammar school home ec. teacher, and dad worked at CalTrans. Small world Glad you also enjoyed such a beautiful area. Hugs Pat Houser

  • A nice album of Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountain, but the 2nd picture of 'MY SUNRISE' is absolutely breathtaking. I could just sit and stare at that picture all day. Congrats on some great picture shots.

  • very nice albums. Thanks for the comments in my guestbook about the grizzlies. The cubs seem to be feeding fine, but they may be a problem because they have little fear of people.

  • I have just spend several hours pouring over you photos. They are truly wonderful. The shots from Romania and Bucharest are of special interest to me as my Grandparents (now gone) were born there and lived there until they were in their early 20's at which time they came to America and ultimately Philadelphia. You are very well traveled as well as an acomplished photographer. Thank you for sharing. Judy Malley judy@malley.net

  • Great pictures as I lived in Bishop, Ca. until I entered the service in 1958. These pictures remind me of home and what I have missed all these years. These are no doubt the best pictures I have seen in a long time. Keep up the good work. Thanks John L. Fischer

  • This should have been a Featured Album. Really nice landscapes. Well composed with terrific color and depth. I'd like to know what kind of camera you use? With the P numbers I'm guessing an Oly but I know Panasonic also uses P numbers but are incapable of this kind of detail at depth. Super injoyable viewing. Suzan

  • Dear Ina, As I love mountains and wilderness, I feel sure to love these twin albums; The master piece here is a splendour: the sunset in 72!!! Your leading image is also great; I loved among so many beauties, Sierra Nevada 10, 17, 35, The Deadman Pass forest sequence, Mono Lake 28, the lovely honeymoon cabin 40, the angle of shot and texture of the two pines in 50, the contrast in 61(nice dark cloud) & in 67, the cholas cactus in 81; Good work my Friend! With affection, Jacques

  • Hello Ina, Gabriela sent me an invitation to this beautiful album. Your travels certainly take you to many beautiful and exciting places! I downloaded many of your photos and they are: 19, 20, 26, 33, 41, 51, 61, and 96. I found the entire album stunning. Thank you for sharing your lovely photos, warm wishes....Candy

  • Dearest Ina, my most favourite shots are from No.19 to No.24 - these 6 shots can be turned into paintings. I was mesmerized by the entanglement of the branches and the mixture of colours. Next, Nos.50 and 51 - sublime shooting of the pine trees and sky! Next,No.72 - a magnificent sunset, the best of all on this subject. From No.85 to No.93, I could not resist when faced with such combinations of colours - I thought of dancing trees, dancing bushes, dancing grass. For me these shots are la creme de la creme, but there are many others that I love. If I start listing and commenting it would take too much space. Such being the beginning of your latest crop I look forward to the next album. Love and hugs from Gabriela
