hi,sfrazier77, just thought id drop you a line. i hunted down where the picture titled 1912-driving tour-denver to salt lake was taken. if you would like to know, it is at mile marker 83 on I-70 looking north, just east of Rulison Colorado. Rifle, Colo. is the next town heading east. On the other side of cars is white line of clearing at base of mountains {the best way i can describe it} is about where I-70 is now. Your photo albums are great. Keep up the good work...

Great photos! I can't imagine where you were able to collect all these. I especially like the ones of ordinary life in the early days out here in the west. It amazes me that we settled here at all. One Note: In Volume 4, there is a photo of sabre practice. The soldiers are in the CAVALRY (Calvary is a place in the Bible).
