    • Dear rj30, I am wondering about your Canadian composition black baby doll in the mint green outfit....can I purchase her, by any chance? I have a friend who has been faithful and kind to me for 50 years and I would love to pay her back for all the wonderful things she has done for me and given me over the years....I do return her acts of friendship, but this would bring her the ultimate joy to have the exact doll back into her life that she once owned. I owned a black composition doll as well, but mine had a red felt sunsuit that was adhered right to the doll...almost as though it was pasted on. I am very interested to hear from you on this matter...I just happened onto this web sight and know nothing about it, but when I saw that doll I nearly flipped! I can't stop looking at her, she is beautiful. I am a boomer who is buying back my childhood over the net...have found most of my books...now I am starting on the dolls...and I would love this one for my girlfriend. If you can help me in any way concerning my quest, I would be very grateful. Thanking you in advance for any help that you can give me. God bless you. Sincerely, Rosemary Larkin

    • Can you tell me about the "New Hats for Vintage Barbies" picture? I have the Barbie in the Japanese outfit-but only with her original swimsuit. Her bottom is marked Barbie 1958, but doll looks like Midge to me-and Barbie didn't come out until 1959-do you know where I can find out about her-value, etc.? Also her body style is not the same as the company (foreign) Barbie's makers bought out before releasing Barbie.
