  • Nice photo; are you sure this isn't backwards (compared to what it would look like if you were standing there looking at it)? Not that it makes much difference. Can't tell what lake this is but it looks like Mt. Ritter in the background.

  • Great set of photos, We missed general grant a couple of years ago, wish I could have got there but then when I arrived home my digicam photos were u/s of the other giant sequoias as dropped the camera! This year did see east side sierras down 395 in spring but tioga pass was closed, however my bristlecone pine trip in white mountains made up for that. Eric
