  • Hey guess what, Yan. Finally a b&w was featured this AM. Do you think "big brother" is listening, lol!!! I wish it could have been this great album of yours! Oh well may be next time (hope big brothers' still listening!) Take care, Marita

  • I do agree with you, Yan, I think it has been a long time since a black and white was featured. I've already sent in some feedback to Webshots staff. Black and white is a forgotten art! There should also be a category in the community, I had no idea where to even post this album. I ended up putting in in the Art column, but feel it is misplaced! Thanks so much for your compliments! Enjoy your weekend. Marita

  • Hello again, Yan. I truly appreciate your kind guestbook entry. I had to come back to your albums. This black and white was intriguing! Not an easy medium. It requires a lot more thought as to composition and lighting conditions. I just made my first attempt in my album symetry in black and white and would value your input! It was a real tough one and took me forever and 7 days! Have a wonderful weekend, Marita, Houston, texas

  • Hi Yan: your kind GE of yesterday motivated me to look at other albums of yours I hadn't seen yet. Excellent pictures in this B&W collection, many of them real masterpieces - far from amateur snaps! Some of them remind me my young years, my first (very simple) pictures - around 1937... I then had the chance to have a father fanatic photographer (who in his young years had built a valuable camera by himself). - Well - we look forward to your future pictures! Best wishes: (Kaethi and) Henri

  • Hi there, Yan! Very interesting and attractive experiments! I enjoyed the B&W shots and especially the portraits! Whether "the crowd" likes this type of shots IS NOT the problem! If you like what you create, you should continue! I really enjoyed watching your album! Friendly regards, Yoshiyuki Tanaka

  • Yan, great album. I too love the Black and White albums. They capture the feel of the old style street photography. Your album People and Places has that atmosphere also. The picture "Infinite Love" really captures the love between a mother and child. Thanks! Ken

  • Dear Yan, this album is absolutely fantastic! I love B&W but I must be in agreement with our friend Ruggero, it is not loved by the crowd. What a pity!!! This don’t take out the perfect beauty of your album! Every image produce an unique atmosphere as no colour photo can recreate, especially in the portraits in which it exalts the moods and in many other photos in which it amplify its dramatic power! My best compliments for your wonderful work! Have a great day! Simona

  • An album that is like a trip beetwen time and photographic tecniques.... I LOVE B&W and, even I think Webshots isn't a good place for this type of "difficult" shots, I think this album must receive a premium. Many great photos and a MASTERPIECE (3 is a true beauty) they create a wonderful collection! MY COMPLIMENTS (perhaps I must insert some B&W also in my page instead they aren't loved by the crowd) Have a NICE WE ! Ruggero
