Hi Keith, those fig trees are amazing. We had a small version of fig trees in South Carolina, USA when we lived there. It was fun to be able to pick the fruit and eat it. Those trees of yours are tremendous. Do you have any idea how old they might be? They look ancient. Thank you for sharing the info. on the trees also. I really enjoyed it. Take care, Ray

Keith (my brother's name is Keith). Thanks for the kind note in my guestbook. My husband Ben and I have said that of all the countries in the world, Australia is the one that we would most like to visit. Love your photos. At least if we never get there, we can see your home through the eye of your camera. Kay (California USA).

I love these old Moreton Bay figs. There is one quite close to the Royal Perth Hospital that is the oldest tree in Perth. Not easy to get them into a photo they're so big. Also there's a street in Dongara, up near Geraldton, that is lined with these trees and it would have to be one of the shadiest streets in WA! Another nice, typically Aussie, album. Well done mate. Hi there again, Keith - thank so much for your kind comments in my guestbook way back in May (yes, I do keep all those wonderful comments!). You're still photographing away, as I am - you asked "you must really love your camera" - I'm asking you the same question lol. So rewarding. Your trees are fantastic. Always love your talent. You commented on my pictures back in Aug...Thank you! That's so nice of you considering how beautiful your pictures are. That Christmas Bush is amazing. I looked at your architecture photos and I think if you ever come to Milwaukee Wisconsin, (on the shore of Lake Michigan, north of Chicago, you definitely want to go to the art museum...the Calatrava. Thank you for your comments and I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you...(crazy at work).

Hi Keith, thank you so much for the compliments in my albums, it means a lot coming from such a fine photographer as yourself. I have been trying to get to all of your albums but have only gotten thru a couple so far, and they are very interesting & so well done. I can tell you are very imaginative & have an eye for natural beauty. I love the Fig trees, they are sooo enormous! I saw some in Florida but nothing compared to these! Thank you for sharing & for taking the time to look at my pics. Have a great day! Linda, Ohio, USA

Hi Keith, we have a small specimen of Fig in our home garden that would quickly become huge if we let it. The birds love the fruit. Thanks for your visit to my Photos, Erle.

Hi Keith, just had to put my thanks for your kind words on my featured treescapes album on this album of yours. Also do not know how I missed putting a message on when your Sydney album was featured. We love that place, had just one week there in 2000 two weeks after O's finished. Stayed at wifes cousins who lives up river from Botan Bay (like that album as well). Still trying to get wife to agree another trip to Aus but she has decided she hates flying long distance. Did you see my Moreton bay figs pics in the famous trees album? keep up the good work. Eric

Hi Keith and I missed this album as you posted it while we were away. Excellent shots, needless to say and you need a bit of room to photograph these monsters. The main street of Dongara, WA is lined with several of them on both sides of the road, which make a great, but hard to get, picture. Also, if you look in my WA Heritage album you will see a wonderful specimen just outside the farmhouse. A good idea well done. Cheers, Peter

Hi keith. Many thanks for your most worm words in my Slovenia albom. Your alboms are more than beautiful, and I have spent all the afternoon to check them.I love this albom especialy , as I love trees very much. We do have ficus trees in Israel,( and I try not to stay with my car under a ficus tree at night, as I will find many berds dirt....) We do have many eukaliptus trees in Israel, that brought from Austrelia more then 100 years ago by the first imigrants from rusia. Do pay me a visit to my albom "eukaliptus and reflection" . And again, I have delighted to travel in your wonderful and most beautiful alboms. Ran from Herzeliya Israel

Hi Keith! Great shots of these magnificent old Fig Trees, they make a lovely subject worthy of their own album. Good research too and well presented. Great job, Keith! Actually, there are quite a lot of these big Fig Trees in the heart of Fremantle, so presume they were planted by the early settlers and that would put them at about 175 years old in Fremantle. Thankyou for sharing.. Gladys.

Hi Keith, These trees are HUGE!!!! The only tree that resembles these was a ficus that I saw in Buenos Aires and I believe that even that was smaller. I liked especially the picture you titled Under the tree. The graphics of the branches gives the picture a spooky atmosphere, very befitting the subject. Thanks for sharing, Uriel
