Beste Anna. mooi, mooi en heel mooi! Dat zegt alles over dit album. Een prof aan het werk! Je hebt gelijk als je het over onze medebezoekers hebt. Ik moet nog eens goed nadenken over volgend jaar. Als ze dan hun cameras bij zich hebben valt het misschien nog wel mee. Om kwart over drie moesten ze weer met de bus terug en hebben we to half vijf toch nog veel kunnen fotograferen. Toen begon het te regenen en zijn wij na een trip van 2 uur!(75 km een ellende) weer thuis gekomen. Ondanks dat alles was het voor ons een heerlijke dag. Leuk je ontmoet te hebben. Groeten

Beautiful photos of a beautiful garden. I was born in The Netherlands but emigrated to Canada 52 years ago. I was fortunate enough to visit Keukenhof in 1986. Your photos bring back a lot of fond memories. We have had one of the worst winters here in Toronto Canada with a lot of snow and there is still at least 2 ft. of snow on the grass around my house. Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos. I will be downloading some for my desktop. Spring is just around the corner and it can't come fast enough for me.

As a result of viewing your albums my husband and I made our first visit to Holland earlier this month and greatly enjoyed our visit to the Keukenhof Gardens. If it had not been for your lovely albums, we might never have known of their existence! Hi Anna; I came back to see your Spring bulbs 2005 album again and kept one for my desktop. It is the one with the white tulips and lavendar windflowers. One day I hope to come to Keukenhof to see this incredible park for real. My new camera is a Nikon D200 and I have to say that I am just beginning to get to know this incredible piece of modern technology. It does great on the automatic settings, but I am looking forward to the time when I can really take those awesome pictures that stop people dead in their tracks. There is so much to learn, I am nearly overwhelmed with it. I have a new album using the subject on the color blue and even have some Dutch clogs in these. It is a very fun album and I have enjoyed putting it together. I have a little Dutch heritage in my backgroud and maybe that is why Tulips are some of my most favorite flowers.... Hi Anna. I hope you are fine such as your beloved husband. Until some days ago, I had not much time to come to Webshots, but now, that I am having a little more time, I am visiting my favorite members. I see you still had no time to publish a new album what is a real pity and a loss for all Webshots members. Then, being crazy about flowers, I decided to see this album and I decided very well. You have outstanding photos here. They are so powerful and colorful that I can, almost, smell those flowers. What a beauty! Some of them have a tridimensional effect, specially in the closest tulips, in number 7, for instance. I had began taking notes of some of my favorites, but at photo 19 I had already pointed photos 3, 7, 9, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18... so I gave up. You have an excellent eye to capture great shots. This is a grand album. I really enjoyed it and I downloaded lots of photos. Your country has wonderful flowers and landscapes. It is in my travel list. And Keukenhof garden it's a real heaven in earth. I visited your other photography site, but my camera is almost a toy, and I have no chance there. But I liked it. My note is getting too long. Hi Anna, I have noticed that the number of downloads per day for the "Top Downloads" has decreased steadily over the past two weeks and yet the relative rakings of the albums has remained the same. My daily statistics have not shown a single download in the past two weeks. Have you been experiencing similar problems? Webshots does not acknowledge any problem. Hi Anna! Thanks for your comments in my new potpourri album. I agree that it was a bit of a whiplash when I included all those assorted images in the same collection, but it's lucky I had time to even put it out there at all!! Hardly anyone ever looks at webshots anymore anyhow...I really just put it together to show Ruggero what my life is like now. (Quickest way to send them across the ocean!! LOL) The new camera is a Canon Digital Rebel. I bartered for it with a friend and although it has less mgpx than Sally, there is a 300mm telephoto lens as an add on that I have been having fun playing with. It's not the Canon I would dream about having, but in my current situation, at least this was an option that moved me into the SLR class and has possibilities. THe mgpx is less, but the telephoto is the trade off. I also have some diopters for it, but it has no doubler like Sally, so I am thinking it will fall short in the maro area as well. But the deal was too sweet to pass up. I briefly went over to that site you mentioned, but didn't join. :o)barbara

About the 'critque' yes, I do tend to upload a too large percent, especially in the new album, there are many that look too the same. So, thank goodness for the delete key. Hoi Anna, Dat is wat hoor zo op je knieen er tussen kruipen. Om maar met de deur in huis te vallen zo als op foto 15, deze is gemaakt met een 400m/m anoloog Sigma lens.Doe je deze lens op een digitale camera moet je dat vermenigvuldigen met 1.5 =600m/m. Ik heb een Canon 300D (Rebel) Ik kan dan kiezen wat ik scherp wil voor midden of ver zo heb ik er ook van dichtbij en van ver af.Het is maar wat je mooi vindt smaken verschillen nu een maal. Zo kan je nog eens wat leren van elkaar. Nee ik heb geen fotoprogamma's gebruikt alles is echt.Dit jaar zal ik wel niet in de keukenhof terecht komen i.v.m werk. maar moet er zeker een keer naar toe.Deze foto's heb ik tussen Axel en Sluiskil gemaakt, zo zijn er hier in OostZeeuws-Vlaanderen verschillende fietsroutes van zo ongeveer 10 tot 15 km waar je deze mooie tulpen kan bezichtigen. Ik zal je nog een foto prive opsturen moet je maar eens zeggen wat je daar van vindt, ik heb m'n hondje wel zeker 25 keer naar me toe laten rennen om die mooie foto te kunnen maken. Hello Anna, I thank you for visiting my latest album "A Matriarch in the Deep Woods" and leaving some nice comments, but as anyone would have it, there were quite a few questions as to the 'why' this tree was cut down at the time, so I'll try to explain. I've changed my introduction a bit and this is how it reads now on my site: Born in 1493; Cut in 1989; Ring Count 496; Acres in cut: 40. Trees per acre at time of cut: 1,200. Seedlings planted after cut: 27,200. Bottom line: Sustained yield is what a forest can produce in perpetuity at a given intensity of forest management without impairing the land’s productivity. The huge fir was undoubtedly the 'mother' of all the rest of the 1,200 trees within this area, but it has now has been replaced with 27,200 seedlings. A 20 minute video was taken, but it took a mere twelve minutes to put this huge tree on the ground. There was nothing wrong with the tree, it was just time to exchange it with more. Hi Anna, You are a truly gifted photographer. What an eye you have for beautiful flowers and the angles you use are so beautiful. Do you live in Holland? My daughter lives in Amsterdam and everytime I go visit her, it is in March when the weather is quite ugly. But the airline prices are cheap then and I am really going to visit her and my beautiful Dutch granddaughters. Hi Anna, What a fantastic photographer you are...your photos are exceptionally beautifyul. An admirer of yours, Carmen H., told me you take your photos with a Nikon 8700.. I just purchased that camera myself and am so anxious for it to arrive. Iam now using an Olympus 2 pixel so the 8 pixel will be a great improvement though I have had great success with my little Olympus..it has served me well. Photography is a passion for me too. Hi again Anna. Two weeks ago Betty and I followed in the footsteps of a Dutch explorer named Pieter Nuyts who, in 1627, sailed his vessel Gulde Zeepaard around the southern part of Western Australia. Dear Anna, this is pure beauty, colors and joy of living - while snowflakes are dancing outside my window. All pictures are great (as they always are in your albums!!!), but still I dare to pick some favorites, which I'm very fond of: 1/4/19/22/38/49/50/63/80/ 95... just to be very, very selective! Anna, I'm glad to see some news from you and to know you are still active on Webshots, because for ages there were no new pictures from you and no more visits in my albums...
