Enjoyed your pics of courthouses and I am sending you a URL for Colbert County. They have a very nice courthouse as well as many other interesting places to visit if your ever in NW Alabama. http://www.colbertcountytourism.org/Pages/attr.html

I see you enjoy courthouses as well. You have some beautiful pictures. I am enjoying photoing Texas courthouses this year. Wouldn't it be nice if the cars were not parked in front of the courthouses and the trees are sometimes so large you can't photo the courthouse well....but it is fun anyway....thanks for sharing.

I'm a proud Alabama native & took pictures of all 72 courthouses (5 of the 67 counties have courthouses in 2 cities) back in 1979. It is good to see them again. You have GOT to get Limestone, Cleburne, & Fayette's courthouses on this page; they are particularly nice. {There are others that you might want to avoid altogether!} You have some pretty good pictures of the offerings thus far. I hope these inspire folks to go see some of Alabama's courthouses in person.

Terrific to see our beautiful courthouses. I grew up in Montgomery and now live in Opelika. Your collection is near and dear to my heart.

I am originally from Limestone County, AL and was also diappointed not to find a picture of our pretty courthouse. The pictures you have done are great!
