Hi Jayne, your photographs of Upton bring back so many memories. It's my wife's home town where we met in 1942 and married in 1944.Many thanks a for a reminder of much treasured and happy times. Brian

Hello Jayne and many thanks for your entry in my recent Local Beach guest book. I like to look in your albums periodically as they take me back to my heritage and my ancestors come from quite close to Upton so it has a double significance for me. Whenever I see photos of old Tudor buildings like this I can't help thinking of pork pies!!! LOL Please don't ask me why but my mouth starts to water and I conjure up this vision!!! Best wishes Peter in Western Australia

Hi Jayne, what a lovely album this is. You transport me to another reality with pictures of architecture and style of pub so different from what is familiar here. You’re so fortunate to have living history so close at hand. I’m quite envious, while enjoying the bounty at my own doorstep. I appreciate your visit to my featured album Some of My Favorites, and your kind comments. You’re right, I have loads of guestbook entries, and the day is not yet done. All the very best from Keith, Sydney.

Hello Jane,I've just looked at your album. It's amazing how we can live so near to wonderful places and yet not bother to look for interesting views and items which other people will appriciate seeing.I live in Stourport.Bye the way ,if you are interested in Pub signs, have a look at a lester 106, a friend of my from Poynton Cheshire,he has some good examples of them,regards.BOB.

Jayne What a wonderful name for a village or town! Your towns in the UK have great names, and I love it. I also love the Uptown Muggery Pub. Such a super place with a super name. So many Mugs! Your pubs are so much more interesting then our bars. No comparison. Great photos and I love the swans. Terrific album. Thank you so much for visiting so many of my albums. I'm very appreciative of that. You are a good friend. Sharon

Hi Jayne, It is so much fun visiting places that are so different from my own little piece of the world. In 1601 Ohio was nothing but forest! It's hard to believe that buildings are still being used that are 400 years old! Keep sharing the UK with us - I love visiting. Connie from Ohio
