  • Friday, August 2, 2002 My Kadet had it's maiden flight. The winds were about 8-10 mph, higher than expected but it took off with no problem. After Tom flew it for me to test it out and make sure there were no problems he hooked up the buddy box and I got to make a few circles and figure 8's around the field.

  • With the fin and horizontal stabilizer framed up, I framed up each wing half. I just finished gluing the wing halves together, in 24 hours the wing can be picked up and a closer inspection made. So far, this has come together much easier than I thought, by following the directions Sig provides taking each step at a time this has been easy.
