We started at the Adk Loj on 12/3 and hiked south passed Marcy Dam, through Avalanche Pass and passed Lake Colden and up to Feldspar Leanto, 12/4 we hiked back to Marcy Dam passed Lake Arnold. 12/5 we hiked back out to the Loj.

I've been there! I now live in Loudon, Tennessee but I grew up in the Adirondacks. Each Summer I return to hike several of the high peaks and camp on Middle Saranac Lake. I enjoyed your photos. Mine can be viewed at Webshots under username Adirondack45.
