  • Is there a way to download the entire listeroid slidshow with your comments? I am new to this web site and cannot find any directions. It looks like you may have done what I want to do, and while I don't mind the work, I see no reason to re-invent the wheel either.

  • Deloney-- Sorry I didn't see your questions earlier. The engine was brand new, still in the crate when I bought it from the importer in Portland, Or. Acually I traded for it so don't really know the $$$ equivilent. Contact George at Utterpower.com or Joel at sawyer(at) pacifier.com. They have engines, ST generators and other cute stuff for the DIYer.

  • Was this engine new? What did it cost? Did it come with a generator? I guess it was shipped on a slow boat from China VIA India? Import duty? Weighs 1000 Lbs? It looked great when you got through with it. It reminds me of an old John Deere, "Poppin' John", two cylinder, diesel that starts on gas.

  • To all--- This project is part of a three year FFA project for a good friend. The notations of terrible workmanship is in no way a reflection on the dealer.... I KNEW what I bought....and wanted it! This will be an ongoing job with updates when they're needed. It is intended to power a remote property with about 3.5Kw of household electricity using alternative oils and waste products in the slow speed engine. Records will be kept, cost will be recorded and analysed. I welcome any comments or suggestions....
