Hi Candy and greetings from Kentucky. A late congratulations on this feature. Now this has a bunch of balloons. That must be a site to see. Do you ever go up on a balloon? I hear that it is really quiet, and very enjoyable to ride. On the Amish buggy. A new one has a price tag of $4000.00, I met a Amish man that builds them. He buys the wheels, and some other parts, but for the most part, he builds it the top part of the buggy. I asked him about the windshield wipers, they are operated by hand when you need to clean the windshield. Also they have a trunk in the rear for the groceries. You go to the back of the buggy and raise a door for excess to that area. I hope you have wonderful New Year, T C until next time... Darrell

Candy and Larry, you have just taken me on a most wonderful journey down 'memory lane'. We were at the Fiesta in Albuquerque in 2000, scheduled for an early morning flight, but the ceiling was too low and did not meet FAA regulations for the balloons to take off ... <pout> So, we got our thrills from the ground and they were many. Your photos reminded me of just HOW many!!! The downside of that visit was the end of my pinky finger was accidently amputated at the first joint. After receiving EXCELLENT care at Presbyterian Hospital in downtown Albuquerque, we continued to enjoy the area. Five years have passed and my left ring finger does the work of two fingers on the keyboard - sorry for digressing! Off to view more of your wonderful photography! ... Judy / FL

hi Candy!! i just love this album! I was hoping to get some balloon shots as incredible as these........but, nope! i didn't! They saved all the neat shaped balloons for the balloon glow...which i have absolutely no skill at taking photos in the dark!! lol!! your photos are magical! i love the ones with so many balloons in the air. i've been on fall break this week....so, i've been out snapping! the only picts i've added though...is in my pumpkin album. Hi Candy,,,These balloons are just wonderful...and what fun you must have had. Belated Congratulations for this exciting and colorful album. I see a couple some mornings when walking...and remind myself each time I do...ALWAYS take your camera...lol!! Then I watch them fly so close just over the top of me up the hill behind...>>then I just enjoy. These are just a parade of wonder. The cartons, creataures..spaceshuttle. .WOW!! and they all fly I am amazed. Are you a ballooner yourself??..Thank goodness the sky was magical and clear and all were a total delight to view. Tks also for your kind words in my Helliconia album..and yes they are beautiful and my friend whose garden they grow in....told me that the botanical name for the red and yellow ones is...'sexy hanger', as they are the only Helliconia that hangs that way. Greetings Candy, I got your email to me but it would not let me respond to you from it so am coming back here to reply as I do not have your email address. The trick to getting good night shots of balloons and for that matter anything else including the northern lights is a good steady tripod and a long enough exposure. Oh, there is one other thing, take lots of shots. For every one good one, I have shot at least 5 or 6 that did not make it. Dear Candy, it seems to me that the &quot;world of balloons&quot; has changed dramatically since your previous album! I mean there are NOW so many shaped-like-something balloons!I am rather conservative and prefer the old shapes which have such beautiful and vivid colours. In sequential order, I like Nos.1/10/14/21/24/26/32 and 51. MY GODDESS!!! This is exactly the kind of festival I have ever ever ever ever ever been dreaming for, and I AM JEALOUS for you can enjoy such a nice time that I keep dreaming of and longing for. I have been considering the balloon festival which I am quite familiar with in Switzerland, but that festival is held in January every year. Visiting Switzerland in January is not my favorite time, because the weather condition is really not too favorable for photography except for snow scenery, and most of the touring sites are closed in winter. Hehe, now is this my another option??? It seems to me that this balloon festival is absolutely a big event, and as usual, with a lot of funny design for making fun. Dear friend, congratulations to you for having such a fantastic experience, sharing with us all these fantastic shots, everything is perfect, stunning, gorgeous, incredible! I love them all. For the balloons, I like the mushroom, dragon, cow, bumble bee, bug. Truly, enjoying a balloon trip is so incredible, and this is in my memory forever and forever ... that morning we woke up a 4am, in order to catch the sunrise, and we also helped to pack the balloon. Oh! Everything is enjoyable! Another great job from you, dear friend! Hahaha, what will happen if my 4 meows jump into those huge baskets of the balloons? Unforgetable from CS!

Candy, Thanks for all the wonderful shots of the Balloons, I didn't get to be there this year (maybe Next) ! I have a brother that lives in Bosque Farms, NM. I usually try to get out there at least once a year to visit. I love to go to the Jemez Mtns and to Chama to ride the Train With the Balloon Fiesta being in Oct. the fall colors in the Mtns are wonderful ! I can see from your Photos I missed a great time !
