  • Wonderful to find this album. We did a similar trip back in the early 90s with my mother-in-law, aged 80 at the time and our super hiking Newfoundland dog, Windy. We came up to Sandpiper from Lou Beverly and then wanted to go up and over the Seven Gables, but I'm afraid it was too rough for her. But we had a lovely time and I appreciate seeing what the view was like on the other side. Wish I could share these photos with my MIL now but she's got dementia now and doesn't even remember her happy hiking years. But you sure brought back great memories for me and my husband. Thank you, thank you!!!!
