Dear Salla, your strawberries looks so incredible yummi! My compliment to your daughter for taking this marvellous picture. We share many flowers in both our gardens, Salla. I love the pictures of the red lily (1, 14), the blue lupine (5), and the dianthus barbathus, which is also one of my favourite flowers, because they have such a large variety of colours. A few Sundays ago, I also had a hedgehog visiting my backyard, an adorable creature. The spider’s web with the raindrops is also a great picture, Salla. Must of spent an hr in here :) Really enjoyed your Helsinki collection. The frost on the glass and trees was amazing and your flowers were beautiful. We call the broken hearts, bleeding hearts but they are the same. Hi Salla! Just you to know. Its rainig, pouring with the rain actually in Portugal and it will be like this for several days I think. I'd rather have this as snow, but don´t complain. Congradulations on your featured album. You have lovely flowers. I didn't read all the messages posted in your guest book so I don't know if any one identified your pink "bell flower" for you. It's a foxglove and it's a bi-enniel plant and very poisonous. It's what they make digitalis from, a heart medication. Hope this helps. Judia

Hello Salla: Thank you for posting on My Garden. I have just enjoyed your world too. Wonderful flowers. I have so much shade I have a mostly green garden. In this Texas heat..shade is a must. The tree you asked about in photo 9 behind Danny's sculpture..that is a China Berry Tree ( Melia azedarach)but what you are seeing is the English Ivy that has completely taken it over. It was like this when we moved in 30 years ago. If I could get a photo of the top..it has almost the same shape as the sculpture. Very surreal looking. The sculptures and archways are all made from metal and wire and mortar. Anyone can do one. Just lots of work. I will have a camera of my own someday..and get more photo's. Lots more to see that I didn't have time to get with the loner. More things being created so there will be more always. Have fun gardening. It is what keeps us sane in this crazy world. You have some very pretty photos in this album. Our summers are short too here in the northern part of Michigan, USA. Oddly enough, our flowers and terrain look much the same as Finland judging by these photos. Thank you for the tour! Candi
