There is nothing that could compare this marvelous presentation of your beautiful pictures unless it would be more of the same! As I have viewed some of your albums there aren't to many ways to express what one sees when they view such beauty! You are truly blessed to be able to travel to so many exotic places and being able to present them so eloquently both in pictures and words.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU !!!! For (another) fantastic tour from you! The interesting beauty found in India is sure made evident by the subjects you meticulously shot! I have been to Agra - thanks to you. I'm inspired to mention a terrific 1969 film (on dvd now) by French director Louis Malle. "Phantom India" is the name of this documentary. Maybe you know it ? No other documentary can match the interesting makeup of this one. So I recommend it ! Thanks again for your wonderful scenes and commentaries. Very Sincerely, Gary in Seattle

This is an outstanding album! I've visited here before; returning over & over to view the beautiful photos you've posted. I've long dreamed of seeing India. After spending time journeying via your album, it always seems that I have been right there as you made the photos. Thank you for this album, and so many others that make extensive travel possible for me via your eyes & captured with your camera. All my best wishes and fond regards! Jodi

Jacques..You continue to enlighten me with these awesome albums as I travel through each one..The valuable information you provide is like a "first class" history lesson..Awesome images of the Agra Taj Mahal as you continue to use your "eye" for beauty which makes each one a painting instead of just a snapshot..This is one of the reasons why you were selected as "Featured Members of the Week"..Thanks for sharing & God's Blessings from Texas...Ken

Hi Jacques - This is a marvelous album, and your words make it so much more alive and meaningful. I had no idea before why the Taj was built, or about the imprisonment of the king. Thank you for all the work you put into this. It looks like you and Pierre had a really wonderful trip. I have already downloaded 6 of the images for my screensaver. All the best, Beth

Hi Jacques ! The red flower in front of the Mirza Ghia's tomb is called 'Calliandra haematocephala'. It is also commonly known as 'powder puff'. It is a one of the favourite shrubs in Indian gardens. Greetings, Suresh

Hello Jacques! This is an inspired album of Taj and the surrounding monuments in Agra. I said inspired because you have caught all the right angles and the composotions. Being an Indian, I have been to the Taj six times over the last 50 years. Taj changes in your perspective as you grow older. From being an architectural sensation when you first see it, it matures into a sublime love poetry. It is truly a poem in marble. No words, no pictures can fully capture the glory of Taj in the moonlight. You have done more than justice to the Taj Mahal. I congratulate you on this great effort of incredible photography. With best wishes from India, Suresh

Hello to all them (from what I could read in the guestbook!), he/it is true that this temple is a marvel of architectures and also of mystery that surrounds this magnificent palace makes by the man's hands while following his/her/its mind!!, (it is what I felt when I go there 3 times in the Indies) and of this fact also to make a detour to review this unforgettable beauty!!, that I must say is put very well in values with your truer photos than natures (+ -) but that permits to people who are not ever or even there this immense luxury hotel!!, and I have benefit in the same way from this to look at the other albums, they are all as faithful to your mark of holds of views and always of very housemaid qualities!!, bravo for your work, sincere regards, and a+ Richard Panneel, <bonpapabobonne@ho tmail.com>...Belgi um...

Michel

Thanks for sharing such a wonderful account of India. Congrats on the album feature! I have just moved from India to Bahrain and have only now bought a Nikon Coolpix 5400. I am kicking myself I wasn't able to capture the shots that you have done so beautifully there. I loved Rajesthan the best for its dramatic flair, desolate landscape, and vibrant colour. I will enjoy looking in time to time on your albums to rekindle some of the memories I had there. A wonderful album and thanks for the memories!

Hi Jacques! It gives me immense pleasure to write you this note of appreciation. Being an Indian, I enjoyed this album based on Taj Mahal very much. I've not yet visited Taj but you've compensated that regret with this beautiful album. After viewing I felt like I was there in person. Some shots are really cool! And the appropriate descriptions make it easy for the viewer to understand the details and significance of each picture. I’ve no more words to thank you for making me enjoy tremendously with this collection. I’m glad to have found you today! Keep up the great work my friend. Cheers! Sanjay

Mes chers amis, I needed quite a long time to STUDY this album, pencil in hand. I have many favorites for various reasons: fine architecture, the unimaginable beauty of the craftwork in sandstone and marble, the purity and elegance of the lines, the contrast of colours (white, red, burgundy red),the angles of shooting. In sequential order: 3/5/7 (This one would make a marvelous poster!)/11/12/17/21+22/2 8/31+32/35/50+51/52/55/59 (such amazing work of art!)/63/67(mesmerizing shot!)/70(with monkey???)/72/84(perfecti on!!!)87(superb shot!)/94(very impressive!).THIS would make a great book, with commentaries and photographs!!! My heartfelt compliments for this great work! Always an avowed admirer, Gabriela

Hi Jacques, these are beautiful pictures, and your attention to colors and composition makes them very special. You have excellent eye to capture that unique “magic moment” seen by photographer with camera in hands! Excellent photo-travel journal! Thank you so much for your kind and generous comments under “Mystic Spring”… Friendly greetings, Rafal

WOOOOOW !! Pierre, Jacques I'm really amazed for the beauty of this places!! I know Taj Mahal only from TV and now I can see its splendour with friends eyes! A gift for me..... Anyway it is (with also Mirza Ghias and others indians landscapes) an alien and exotic landscape for my italian mind.... really FANTASTIC! About your shots... perhaps your choose is not, as you say, the same that we do in the same situation; anyway the photos are really good! It was difficult choose some preferites, but my opinion is that best shots are 2, 9, 11, 15, 18, 22, 50, 53, 64, 79 and 90. A great collection it seem :-) !! However ... THANKS for this virtual trip !! CIAO !! Ruggero

Hi Jacques, thanks for your compliments about my Golan-Height album. I am flattered. You then were just back from your Asian trip. And I am just back from a beautiful armchair journey through those wonderful India albums. Those places are so full of beauty, so rich in mathematical perfect decorations. I like more to think the Taj Mahal is a Hymn to Love! Your pictures are mathematical perfection, too! I like the views and the unusual angles you found, especially those "last views" from far away. In the first album I like especially pic # 3, the view over Turkey is amazing. I am back from a trip in my past (Germany) and brought with me a traveler guide for China, not sure, if I will ever go there...but it is nice to take a look. - Galit from Israel
