I have a theory about my two Bassets, Charlie and Joey. God gave them those big sad eyes to protect them from punishment. After all, even in the midst of an eatetn loaf of bread and dis-mantled garbage can, who can stay mad at THAT FACE???

Lovely photo's. We have had a French Basset-hound for 14 years. He died from a cancer on the stomach and lever. He was such a fine dog. I wish you can enjoy your dogs for quite a long time.

I absoluely LOVE basset hounds!!! My mom wont let me have one but as soon as i live on my own im gonna have like 5! two of their names will be stanley and dudley...... i think those are very bassety names!!!

What beautiful Bassets! Our Chloe is a 4-year-old tri-color. We adopted her from a Basset rescue group 2 1/2 years ago. Can't imagine how we lived without her! :)

Bassetts truly are amazing doggies. They hold a very special place in ones heart. They have a way of capturing your soul. God made them just a little bit different than any other breed. And, for a different breed of people....like me and my husband...And our bassett's name is MAX. Thanks for allowing me to see what my baby looked like as a very little MAX. We got him from the breeder when he was only 9 weeks old. God bless and keep you and yours.
